  • Seahawks' Ricky White: Sticking with Seattle

White signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver appeared in two regular-season games for Seattle in 2025, playing on 13 offensive snaps and nine special-teams snaps. He did not record a catch. White was a seventh-round pick of the team in 2025.

  • Seahawks' Velus Jones: Signs reserve/future deal

Jones signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The running back was elevated to the active roster for Super Bowl LX, playing 23 snaps on special teams and dowing a punt on New England's two-yard line. Jones appeared in three games for Seattle during the 2025 regular season, carrying the ball four times for 32 yards.

  • Seahawks' Montorie Foster: Staying with champs

Foster signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver signed to the Seahawks' practice squad in late December but never appeared in a game. Now, he'll try to make it to the team's offseason program and compete for a roster spot.

  • Tyrone Broden WR | SEA

Seahawks' Tyrone Broden: Sticking with Seattle

Broden (undisclosed) signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver ended the season on the practice squad injured list, but he appears to be healthy again. Broden spent time on Seattle's practice squad during the 2025 campaign but did not appear in a game.

  • Cam Akers RB | SEA

Seahawks' Cam Akers: Signs reserve/future contract

Akers signed a reserve/future contract with the Seahawks on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.

The running back was elevated from the practice squad for Super Bowl LX and played four snaps on special teams. In 2025, he spent time with the Vikings and Seahawks, appeared in six regular-season games and carried the ball five times for 19 yards. Now, he'll likely remain with Seattle at least into OTAs.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | PIT

Steelers' Jonnu Smith: Production tanks in Pittsburgh

Smith secured 38 of 54 targets for 222 yards and two touchdowns across 17 regular-season games with the Steelers in 2025.

Smith posted a career-best 88-884-8 line on 111 targets with the Dolphins in 2024, but an offseason contract dispute led to his being traded to Pittsburgh, where his receiving production plummeted in a run-first offense designed by Arthur Smith (now at Ohio State). It's hard to imagine a worse scenario for the 30-year-old tight end to have found himself in. The arrival of new head coach Mike McCarthy could provide a new spark on offense, but even if things change for the better, Smith may not have a path to re-emerging as a consistent fantasy contributor due to the involvement of fellow tight ends Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington (forearm). Smith has one more year under contract.

  • Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT

Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Modest numbers in 2025

Freiermuth secured 41 of 54 targets for 486 yards and four touchdowns across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025.

Freiermuth paced Pittsburgh's tight ends in receiving production, but his ceiling was significantly capped by the presence of both Jonnu Smith and Darnell Washington (forearm), as well as the run-first schematic design of former offensive coordinator Arthur Smith (now at Ohio State). The 27-year-old remains under contract through the 2028 season and will retain a consistent role in Pittsburgh's offense, but both Smith and Washington are set to return in 2026, and the first read for red-zone opportunities will consistently be wide receiver DK Metcalf. Those factors will make Freiermuth a deep sleeper in 2026 fantasy drafts, and it's difficult to envision an upside scenario for him even if new head coach Mike McCarthy manages to spark things on offense.

  • Colson Yankoff TE | WAS

Commanders' Colson Yankoff: Increased work in second season

Yankoff caught two of three targets for 18 yards across 14 regular-season games in 2025.

The UCLA product logged just 107 total snaps (101 on special teams, six on offense) across six regular-season games during his rookie campaign in 2024. However, he played a much larger role in his second season, logging 246 special-teams snaps and 107 offensive snaps. Despite the increased playing time, Yankoff was targeted just three times and operated in a depth role within Washington's tight end room. Under contract through 2026, the 25-year-old is expected to compete for a larger offensive role this offseason.

  • Titans' Julius Chestnut: Production dips in 2025

Chestnut rushed 11 times for 40 yards and failed to catch either of his two targets across 17 regular-season games in 2025. Additionally, he tallied 81 kick-return yards.

Chestnut saw declines across several statistical categories compared to his 2024 campaign, logging fewer carries (22 to 11) and posting fewer rushing (102 to 40) and receiving (11 to zero) yards while playing 40 fewer offensive snaps. He also returned 10 fewer kicks than he did in 2024 but was more efficient this season, averaging 27.0 yards per return. Set to enter unrestricted free agency this offseason, Chestnut could draw interest from teams in need of running-back depth to compete for a backup role ahead of the 2026 season.

  • Brandon Jones SAF | DEN

Broncos' Brandon Jones: Tallies 78 tackles in 2025

Jones (pectoral) finished the 2025 regular season with 78 tackles (43 solo), including 0.5 sacks, seven passes defensed, including one interception, and one fumble recovery across 14 games.

Jones was having a solid sixth season before suffering a pectoral injury in a Week 15 win over the Packers that required surgery to repair and landed him on injured reserve. The 27-year-old safety was unable to play in the Broncos' two playoff contests, but it appears he was a candidate to return to action if Denver made it to Super Bowl LX. Assuming he is back to full health next season, Jones should return to his starting free safety position as a key member of the Broncos' top-tier defense. The Texas product is entering the final year of his three-year deal with the Broncos before becoming a free agent in 2027.
