Greg Dortch WR | BUF
Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Dealing with chest injury
Dortch (chest) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Dortch joined No. 1 WR Marvin Harrison (heel) as one of eight Cardinals to not practice to kick off Week 14 prep, with the former's reason going down as a chest injury. There's been chatter that Harrison is in danger of missing time again after sitting out Weeks 11 and 12 following an appendectomy, while it's unknown if Dortch also is a candidate to be inactive Sunday versus the Rams. Ultimately, Friday's injury report may make a ruling on the statuses of both Harrison and Dortch, but for the time being, Michael Wilson, Xavier Weaver and Andre Baccellia are the healthy options at the position on Arizona's active roster.

D.J. Jones DT | DEN
Broncos' D.J. Jones: Begins Week 14 as DNP
Jones (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Jones suffered a shoulder injury Sunday night against Washington that caused him to miss the end of the overtime win, and he's now listed with an ankle issue. He'll probably need to return to practice in some capacity by the end of Friday in order to be able to play against Las Vegas on Sunday. Should Jones miss that matchup, Eyioma Uwazurike could see an uptick in defensive snaps.
-
Alex Bachman WR | LAR
Raiders' Alex Bachman: Battling thumb injury
Bachman (thumb) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice.
Bachman has handled 24 offensive snaps through 10 games, turning in one reception for nine yards. Most of his work comes on special teams, where he has returned 11 punts for 75 yards. If he can't play Sunday versus the Broncos, Tre Tucker likely will serve as the primary punt returner.

Kamari Lassiter CB | HOU
Texans' Kamari Lassiter: Sidelined to begin week
Lassiter (foot) did not practice Wednesday.
Lassiter hasn't been on the injury report since Week 2, but he'll be sidelined to begin the Texans' prep for a Week 14 matchup against the Chiefs. There's not much indication as to the seriousness of the issue, so his practice participation for the rest of the week will be important to monitor.
-
Nate Adkins TE | DEN
Broncos' Nate Adkins: Not ready to return to practice
Adkins (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Adkins hurt his knee during a game against Dallas on Oct. 26. Though the Broncos have elected against placing Adkins on IR to this point, the tight end hasn't practiced since getting hurt and has missed four consecutive contests. Adam Trautman has worked as Denver's No. 2 tight end while Adkins has been out and will presumably continue to do so until Adkins returns.
-
Zamir White RB | NO
Raiders' Zamir White: Shakes off illness
White (illness) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
White is no longer battling the illness that kept him out of the Week 13 loss to the Chargers. That doesn't mean he'll return to the lineup in Week 14 versus the Broncos, as White was a healthy scratch in the previous seven games.
-
Emari Demercado RB | DAL
Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Limited in return to practice
Demercado (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Demercado officially was back on the practice field for the first time since he suffered a high-ankle sprain during a Week 11 loss to the 49ers. He'll have two more chances to upgrade to full during Week 14 prep, or he'll be at risk of entering the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Rams. If he's active, Demercado would be in the mix for snaps along with fellow RBs Bam Knight and Michael Carter, while it's unclear if Trey Benson (knee) has a chance to return from IR after he logged a third straight DNP on Wednesday.
-
Darnay Holmes CB | ATL
Raiders' Darnay Holmes: Back to full health
Holmes (illness) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Holmes has shaken off the illness that kept him out of the Week 13 loss to the Chargers. The 27-year-old slot cornerback has averaged 14.9 defensive snaps per game, totaling 15 tackles (10 solo) through 10 games.
-
Maxx Crosby DE | LV
Raiders' Maxx Crosby: Dealing with knee injury
Crosby (knee) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Crosby dealt with a knee injury during last week's practices, but he looked just fine on the field in Week 13 versus the Chargers, playing every defensive snap and posting nine tackles (six solo) and 2.0 sacks. It's worth monitoring his status, but as long as he maintains limited participation, he has a good chance to play this week versus the Broncos.
-
Trey Benson RB | ARI
Cardinals' Trey Benson: DNP on Wednesday
Benson (knee) was a non-participant in practice Wednesday, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
On the heels of three straight missed sessions going back to last week, Benson now has one week remaining to prove the health of his knee before his 21-day window to practice expires. If that were to occur, he'd remain on injured reserve for the rest of the campaign. Meanwhile, Emari Demercado practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain Week 11. If Benson isn't activated for Week 14 action and Demercado avoids a designation, the latter would join Bam Knight and Michael Carter as the top healthy RBs on Arizona's active roster.
