Sam Roberts DE | ATL
Falcons' Sam Roberts: Won't face Saints
Roberts (knee) was not activated from injured reserve Saturday and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
Roberts has been practicing for the last week and even upgraded to a full session Friday. However, he still won't be able to return for Sunday's season finale and will have missed the final eight games of the 2025 season. Roberts tallied 18 tackles and 1.0 sacks across five games on the campaign.

Tatum Bethune LB | SF
49ers' Tatum Bethune: Dealing with groin issue
Bethune is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Seahawks due to a groin injury, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Bethune suffered the injury late in Saturday's matchup against Seattle. He had racked up seven tackles, including 1.0 sacks, prior to his exit.

Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR
Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Meager production on seven touches
Hubbard rushed five times for 10 yards and secured both targets for seven yards in the Panthers' 16-14 loss to the Buccaneers on Saturday.
Hubbard's day was as unproductive as his line suggests, although backfield mate Rico Dowdle fared even worse on the ground (1.4 yards per carry). Hubbard's production saw a significant downturn in 2025 compared to the last two seasons, as a two-game absence in Weeks 5-6 opened the door for Dowdle to take over the lead-back role for an extended period. Hubbard finishes the regular season with 511 rushing yards (3.8 yards per carry) and one touchdown while adding a 30-223-3 receiving line across 15 games, and he'll remain in a timeshare with Dowdle in the wild-card round if the Panthers qualify for the postseason via a Falcons win over the Saints on Sunday.

Rachaad White RB | TB
Buccaneers' Rachaad White: Records 41 total yards in win
White rushed seven times for 23 yards and brought in both targets for 18 yards in the Buccaneers' 16-14 win over the Panthers on Saturday.
White was a distant runner-up to Bucky Irving in carries for the Buccaneers on the afternoon, with the latter logging a career-high 26 rush attempts. Like Irving, White averaged just 3.3 yards per carry, and he complemented that with equally modest receiving yardage. White put together just a serviceable regular season despite the fact he had the potential for expanded opportunity with Irving missing seven games with shoulder and foot injuries, with the former finishing with 572 rushing yards and four touchdowns at 4.3 yards per carry while adding a 40-218-0 line on 45 targets across 17 games. White would remain in a complementary role should the Buccaneers play next weekend in the wild-card round by virtue of the Saints tying or defeating the Falcons on Sunday.

DeMarcco Hellams SAF | ATL
Falcons' DeMarcco Hellams: Done for year
Hellams (hamstring) was not activated from injured reserve Saturday and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
Hellams was designated to return Wednesday after missing Atlanta's last four games. He logged a full practice Friday after logging two limited sessions earlier in the week, but that won't be enough for him to play in the Falcons' season finale. Hellams played almost exclusively on special teams and logged 10 tackles across 11 games in 2025.

Darrell Taylor DE | HOU
Texans' Darrell Taylor: Remaining sidelined
Taylor (ankle) was not activated from injured reserve Saturday and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Taylor has been on injured reserve since Week 10 but has practiced for the last couple of weeks. He should have the chance to be activated ahead of Houston's wild-card round matchup.

Ajani Carter DB | HOU
Texans' Ajani Carter: Won't return in Week 18
Carter (hamstring) was not activated from injured reserve and has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Carter has been sidelined since Week 13 but has managed to practice for the last 10 days. He should have a decent chance to be activated ahead of Houston's postseason run.

Giovanni Manu OL | DET
Lions' Giovanni Manu: Staying on IR
Manu (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Bears.
Manu has been on injured reserve since mid-October and has been practicing for two weeks. He won't be able to return after appearing in only four games in his rookie season.
-
Donovan Jennings OT | GB
Packers' Donovan Jennings: Likely done for year
Jennings (neck) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Jennings was already ruled out for Week 18, but he'll now miss at least most of the Packers' postseason run. He won't be eligible to return until at least the Super Bowl -- should Green Bay advance that far -- and his absence will thin the depth along the team's offensive line.

Jason Brownlee WR | KC
Chiefs' Jason Brownlee: Up to active roster again
The Chiefs elevated Brownlee from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.
The Chiefs are likely to be very shorthanded at wide receiver in the season finale Sunday against the Raiders. Brownlee will be elevated for the second straight game as a result, though he didn't log any snaps in Week 17.
