Edmunds (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

The 27-year-old didn't practice all week due to a groin injury and is now in line to miss his first game of the season Sunday. Edmunds is an integral part of the Bears' defense, recording 89 total tackles and nine passes defensed, including four interceptions, over 10 appearances this year. While he's out in Week 12, expect Ruben Hyppolite to have an expanded role on Chicago's defense.

The Bengals activated Gesicki (pectoral) from injured reserve Friday.

Since injuring his pectoral Week 6 at Green Bay, Gesicki has missed the requisite four games on IR, and his ability to practice in full Wednesday and Thursday was enough for Cincinnati to bring him back to the active roster ahead of the weekend. He thus will be among the top TE options along with Noah Fant for whoever is helming the offense Sunday against the Patriots. Those options include Joe Burrow (toe, IR) and Joe Flacco (right shoulder).

Alford (concussion) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Saints, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

Alford has cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and will return following a one-game absence. He could be used in the slot in the absence of Billy Bowman (Achilles), or Alford may slot in as a backup at outside cornerback.

Rams head coach Sean McVay said Friday that Atwell (hamstring) may return for Week 13 against the Panthers (Sunday, Nov. 30), Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

That's when Atwell is first eligible to return from injured reserve. Once available, he'll likely occupy a part-time role in an offense where Puka Nacua and Davante Adams reliably account for nearly all of the WR targets.

Harrison (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

The Ohio State product didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday and will now be sidelined for the fourth time in the Falcons' last five games on Sunday. Harrison has appeared in seven games this season, recording 22 total tackles, including 4.5 sacks, and one pass defensed. Expect Brandon Dorlus to have an expanded role on Atlanta's defense while Harrison remains sidelined in Week 12.

Floyd (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Floyd has missed each of Atlanta's last two games due to a hamstring injury sustained in the Week 9 loss to the Patriots. However, following a week of limited practice sessions, he's got a chance to return for Sunday's divisional matchup. If active, Floyd will operate as one of the Falcons' top edge rushers.

Slayton (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Detroit, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Slayton returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant and apparently didn't need long to prove his readiness. He'll jump back in as a starter after a one-game absence, now catching passes from Jameis Winston instead of Jaxson Dart, who will miss a second straight game due to a concussion.

Woods (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Seahawks, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Woods didn't practice either Wednesday or Thursday and is now in line to miss his third game in a row due to a hamstring injury. The first-year Titan has appeared in eight games this season, recording 34 total tackles and two passes defensed, including one interception. Expect Kevin Winston to start at free safety while Woods remains sidelined.

Bowman suffered an Achilles injury during Friday's walkthrough and won't play Sunday against the Saints, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Head coach Raheem Morris said Bowman's injury "is not good," which may be hinting at an extensive absence to come, but for now, Bowman has been ruled out only through Sunday's game. Mike Ford could be in line to take over as Atlanta's nickel cornerback.

Head coach Shane Steichen told reporters Friday that Carlies (ankle) will not be activated from the injured reserve list ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

The second-year pro from Missouri practiced in full both Wednesday and Thursday but is still not ready for in-game action. Carlies has yet to play this season after posting 36 total tackles across 10 games in 2024. Once fully healthy, he's expected to operate as one of the Colts' top linebackers.
