The Saints signed Jones to a one-year contract Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The move means Jones will end up playing for all four NFC teams, with his NFL career starting with the Falcons in 2016 as a second-round pick before stints with the Panthers and, most recently, the Buccaneers. He appeared in 17 regular-season games for Tampa Bay last year as a special-teams contributor and depth option on defense, finishing with 29 tackles (16 solo). Jones figures to see most of his playing time on special teams this season, and his addition gives New Orleans depth at inside linebacker behind starters Kaden Elliss and Pete Werner.

Horn caught four passes on seven targets for 44 yards during the Panthers' 33-30 win over the Cardinals in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game. He also returned one kickoff for 25 yards.

Horn caught passes of 17 and 15 yards from Haynes King on the Panthers' final drive of the second quarter, which helped set up a 33-yard field goal from Ryan Fitzgerald. Horn added two more catches in the second half, including a 12-yard pass late in the fourth quarter that set up the Panthers deep in enemy territory and eventually led to a five-yard, game-winning rushing touchdown by King as time expired. Horn was a sixth-round selection of the Panthers in the 2025 NFL Draft but didn't see many touches during his rookie campaign, finishing with 11 catches (on 15 targets) for 108 yards and eight carries for 69 yards over 14 regular-season games. Xavier Legette figures to be Carolina's WR3 behind Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker this season, but Horn could see some additional work on special teams as a returner and could earn a larger role for himself on offense with a strong training camp and preseason. The Panthers' next preseason game takes place Saturday, Aug. 15 against the Bills in Buffalo.

Kiner recorded 14 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's 33-30 preseason loss versus the Panthers. He also logged two catches for nine yards.

Kiner opened the scoring in the first exhibition of the preseason with a one-yard touchdown run on the first play of the second quarter. He also led both teams in carries while maintaining decent efficiency. Whether he makes the cut for Arizona's initial 53-man roster could depend somewhat on the health of veteran James Conner (foot).

Moore caught one pass on two targets for five yards during Carolina's 33-30 win over Arizona in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game.

Moore's lone catch came early in the second quarter, and he finished Thursday's game having played 18 total snaps (17 on offense, one on special teams). The 2017 seven-rounder spent most of last year on injured reserve due to a dislocated elbow and appeared in only four regular-season games before being a healthy scratch during the Panthers' NFC wild-card loss against the Rams. Moore is competing against Brycen Tremayne, Casey Washington, Ja'Seem Reed and John Metchie for a depth spot on the Panthers' 53-man roster.

The Browns waived Thrash (undisclosed) on Friday with an injury designation.

The nature and severity of Thrash's injury have not been announced. However, if the 2024 fifth-rounder goes through waivers unclaimed, then he'll revert to the Browns' injured reserve and be forced to sit for the entire upcoming season unless an injury settlement is reached with Cleveland. Thrash appeared in nine regular-season games for the Browns in 2025, catching 10 passes (on 15 targets) for 107 yards.

The Falcons signed Wilkerson on Friday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.

Wilkerson did not play last regular season after missing the cut for the Bills' 53-man roster, but he's now getting another chance with a new squad. Behind Drake London, Atlanta has one of the thinnest receiving corps in the league going into 2026.

Henningsen tore his Achilles during Friday's training camp practice, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

It's a brutal blow for the 2022 sixth-rounder, who tore his other Achilles during a joint practice against the 49ers during the Broncos' 2025 training camp in August. It will be another lengthy rehab process for Henningsen, who signed a one-year contract with the Broncos in March and will be an unrestricted free agent after the 2026 season.

Atlanta released Andersen (knee) on Friday, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.

Andersen sat out the entire 2025 campaign as he worked to recover from a knee injury he suffered back in 2024, and he started training camp on the PUP list in 2026. He'll now become a free agent and be eligible to suit up for another club when capable.

Jordan was held out of Friday's training-camp practice due to a minor, undisclosed injury, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The nature of Jordan's injury hasn't been announced by the Texans, but it could be related to the torn patellar tendon injury that he sustained during training camp in August of 2025. The decision to keep him out of Friday's practice was a precautionary measure and should not impact his availability ahead of the Texans' preseason opener against the Chargers this Thursday.

Ayomanor (shoulder) is practicing Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Ayomanor exited Thursday's practice early due to an issue with his left shoulder, but he apparently dodged a serious injury. The second-year wideout is competing for slotting in Tennessee's wideout pecking order, so it's important that he didn't have to miss much time.
