  • Panthers' Brycen Tremayne: No catches Sunday

Tremayne failed to haul in his lone target while playing eight of the Panthers' 52 offensive snaps during Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Seahawks.

Tremayne has now gone without a catch in each of the Panthers' last five games, though he received his first target since the Week 11 win over the Falcons during Sunday's loss. Across 15 appearances this season, the Stanford product has caught 12 of 16 targets for 133 yards. He's expected to continue playing a depth role in Carolina's receiving corps while also contributing on special teams during the Week 18 matchup against the Buccaneers.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: No touches on offense

Gordon did not log a carry or target during Miami's 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Gordon has now operated in a clear depth role behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright in three consecutive games, in which span he's combined for minus-1 rushing yards on three carries. The rookie sixth-round pick played a career-high 15 snaps on special teams versus Tampa Bay, during which he also logged one assisted tackle. Gordon stands to operate as the Dolphins' third-string running back again during the team's regular-season finale on the road against New England in Week 18.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Dolphins' Darren Waller: Invisible versus Tampa Bay

Waller secured one of three targets for zero receiving yards during Miami's 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Waller curiously took a back seat to Greg Dulcich in Week 17, who secured five of six targets for 58 yards and one touchdown. The share of offensive snaps handled by Waller (38 percent) and Dulcich (36 percent) was essentially even, while blocking specialist Julian Hill (60 percent) also caught one of his two targets for 16 yards. Waller stands to continue splitting pass-catching opportunities at the TE position with Dulcich when the Dolphins close out the regular season at New England in Week 18.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Jets' Khalil Herbert: Two touches as other RBs go down

Herbert rushed twice for five yards and didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 42-10 loss to the Patriots.

Top two running backs Breece Hall (knee) and Isaiah Davis (concussion) exited in the second half, but Kene Nwangwu finished with six carries to Herbert's two. Both depth options could play expanded roles in Week 18 against the Bills if Hall and Davis are held out.

  • Kene Nwangwu RB | NYJ

Jets' Kene Nwangwu: Career-high six carries in Week 17

Nwangwu rushed six times for 31 yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 42-10 loss to the Patriots. He also returned four kickoffs for 114 yards.

Breece Hall (knee) and Isaiah Davis (concussion) both exited in the second half, opening the door for Nwangwu and Khalil Herbert to take on larger roles. Nwangwu's contributions are usually limited to special teams, and Sunday's six carries marked a new career high for the 27-year-old running back. He could see an expanded role again in Week 18 against the Bills if Hall and Davis aren't available.

  • Stone Smartt TE | PHI

Jets' Stone Smartt: Paces team's TEs again

Smartt caught two of three targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 42-10 loss to the Patriots.

Smartt has stepped up in the absence of Mason Taylor (neck), catching seven of eight targets for 52 yards over the past two games. Prior to this relatively productive stretch, Smartt had just one target all season. Smartt and Jeremy Ruckert could maintain larger roles if Taylor sits out the regular-season finale against the Bills.

  • Jonnu Smith TE | PIT

Steelers' Jonnu Smith: Leads team in receptions Sunday

Smith secured all five of his targets for 18 yards while adding nine rushing yards on two carries during Sunday's 13-6 loss to Cleveland.

Smith has been inconsistent for most of the regular season, but he has topped 20 yards from scrimmage in three consecutive games. Although he was on the field for just 41 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Week 17, his five targets marked his highest total since Week 9 against the Colts. Smith's involvement in the passing game could remain elevated in next week's win-or-go-home matchup against the Ravens since Darnell Washington sustained a broken arm in the first quarter of Sunday's loss to Cleveland, and No. 1 wideout DK Metcalf will remain suspended.

  • Jeremy Ruckert TE | NYJ

Jets' Jeremy Ruckert: One catch in Week 17

Ruckert caught one of three targets for two yards in Sunday's 42-10 loss to the Patriots.

In the ongoing absence of Mason Taylor (neck), Ruckert has ceded most of the pass-catching opportunities to Stone Smartt. Ruckert has three catches for 16 yards on six targets over the past two games, while Smartt has caught seven of eight targets for 52 yards in that span. Heading into the regular-season finale against the Bills, Ruckert has exceeded two catches only twice this season.

  • Scott Miller WR | PIT

Steelers' Scotty Miller: Targeted seven times in loss

Miller secured three of seven targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Browns.

Miller has had minimal production for most of the season, as he had just one catch over his first 10 appearances, but he logged three receptions for a second consecutive week in Sunday's defeat. He was on the field for 64 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps against Cleveland, and he'll likely continue to see increased playing time in Pittsburgh's win-or-go-home matchup against Baltimore in Week 18 since DK Metcalf will remain suspended.

  • Rasheen Ali RB | BAL

Ravens' Rasheen Ali: Used in passing game vs Packers

Ali had two catches for eight yards on three targets Saturday against the Packers.

Ali was shut out of the rushing rotation Saturday as Derrick Henry and Keaton Mitchell took all the carries among running backs. He had three targets, though, which was a respectable share considering Baltimore only threw the ball 20 times. Ali seems to have carved out a role as a pass-catching specialist out of the backfield, but he has just six carries for 24 yards on the season.
