  • Nate Landman LB | LAR

Rams' Nate Landman: Limited with shoulder injury

Landman (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's estimated practice, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.

Landman logged limited sessions in the lead-up to the Rams' Week 2 win over the Giants. The linebacker was able to play through a shoulder injury in the contest, logging seven tackles (three solo) over 49 defensive snaps. Landman is set to undergo a similar process in Week 3 and will likely remain limited all week before avoiding an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Broncos anyway.

  • Buccaneers' Jacob Parrish: Full practice Wednesday

Parrish (back) was full participant at the Buccaneers' practice Wednesday.

Parrish was unable to play in Sunday's 23-19 loss to the Browns due to a back injury that he suffered Week 1 versus Cincinnati. The cornerback now appears to be back to full health, and he is on track to return to action against Minnesota in Week 3.

  • Elijah Molden CB | LAC

Chargers' Elijah Molden: Can't practice Wednesday

Molden (hamstring) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

Molden was forced to miss Sunday's loss versus the Raiders due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 1 versus the Cardinals, and now his status for Week 3 is also in question. He'll likely need to manage at least a limited practice Thursday or Friday to give himself an opportunity to suit up Sunday at Buffalo.

  • Rams' Jordan Whittington: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Whittington (quadriceps) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.

Whittington has failed to practice since sustaining a quadriceps injury during the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. The wide receiver has missed four consecutive practices and appears no closer to suiting up for the team's Week 3 showdown with the Broncos on Sunday.

  • Derwin James FS | LAC

Chargers' Derwin James: Sits out practice Wednesday

James (finger) did not participate at practice Wednesday.

James was also marked with a "rest" designation on the official injury report Wednesday, so his absence may not be an indicator he's at risk of missing game action in Week 3. He suffered a broken pinky finger in Sunday's loss versus the Raiders, and the Chargers' official injury reports Thursday and Friday should provide some clarity on whether he'll be able to play through that Sunday at Buffalo.

  • Buccaneers' Rueben Bain: Dealing with groin issue

Bain (groin) was a non-participant at the Buccaneers' practice Wednesday.

Bain recorded no stats while playing 35 defensive snaps in the team's 23-19 loss to Cleveland in Week 2, but he may have picked up a groin injury along the way. The 22-year-old will have two more opportunities to return to practice prior to Sunday's contest versus Minnesota.

  • Buccaneers' Josiah Trotter: Misses practice Wednesday

Trotter (shoulder) did not participate at the Buccaneers' practice Wednesday.

Trotter is coming off of a 13-tackle performance in the team's 23-19 loss against the Browns on Sunday, and he may have suffered a shoulder injury during the game. The linebacker will have two more chances to return to practice prior to the team's Week 3 matchup with Minnesota.

  • Saints' Christen Miller: DNP Wednesday

Miller (toe) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Miller continues to miss practice sessions as the defensive tackle works through the toe injury he likely suffered in the Saints' Week 1 overtime loss to the Lions. The rookie second-rounder was able to practice in a limited capacity Friday but has been downgraded to a non-participant to start Week 3 prep, suggesting not much progress has likely been made in his recovery.

  • Ryan Miller WR | MIA

Dolphins' Ryan Miller: Dealing with hip issue

Miller (hip/back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

It's not clear when Miller suffered the injury, but his availability for Week 3 is now in doubt. If he's not able to practice in full Thursday or Friday, there's a good chance he'll end up carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Patriots' Brenden Schooler: Practice window opened

The Patriots opened the 21-day practice window for Schooler (back) on Wednesday.

Schooler can now return to practice but won't be eligible to appear in a game until Week 5 due to being on the reserve/non-football injury list. Once officially activated, the 29-year-old should contribute as a depth defender.
