The Texans signed Wallace off their practice squad Friday.
Wallace joined the Texans' practice squad in early November and has now been promoted to the active roster. The 28-year-old from Clemson is expected to provide depth in Houston's secondary while also likely contributing on special teams during Saturday's matchup against the Chargers.

Bills' Cam Lewis: Set to suit up Week 17
Lewis (hamstring) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's clash against Philadelphia.
Lewis was deemed a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday but was able to log a full practice Friday. He thus has avoided an injury designation and will be in action Sunday. Lewis has yet to miss a game this season, but his defensive snap count has been trending down of late, and he logged just a 14 percent share last Sunday against the Browns.

Texans' Ajani Carter: Remains sidelined Saturday
Carter (hamstring) has been downgraded and ruled out ahead of Saturday's matchup against the Chargers.
Despite logging full practice sessions Wednesday and Thursday, Carter has been ruled out and will remain on the injured reserve list through Week 17. While the 25-year-old is sidelined Sunday, Tremon Smith and Ja'Marcus Ingram are expected to operate as Houston's top reserve boundary corners.

Patriots' Jared Wilson: Won't play Week 17
Wilson (concussion) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jets, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
The 2025 third-round pick from Georgia sustained a concussion in the Week 16 win over the Ravens and wasn't able to clear protocol in time to play Sunday. Ben Brown will likely start in place of Wilson at left guard in the Week 17 divisional matchup.

Tuimoloau (oblique) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Tuimoloau sustained an oblique injury in the Week 16 loss to the 49ers and didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday. The 2025 second-round pick from Ohio State has had an underwhelming rookie campaign, recording just 16 total tackles across 12 appearances. While he's out Sunday, expect Tyquan Lewis and Samson Ebukam to serve as Indianapolis' top reserve defensive ends.

Bears' Luther Burden: Set to play Sunday
Burden (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in San Francisco.
Burden sat out a Week 16 matchup with the Packers due to an ankle injury that he suffered one week prior against the Browns, but after getting back to a full practice Friday, he's in the clear for Week 17 action. With Rome Odunze (foot) still sidelined, Burden will be among the top WRs available to the Bears offense this weekend along with DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus.

Johnson (quadriceps) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's tilt against the Eagles.
Johnson has been managing a quad injury for the past two weeks, but he was able to play last Sunday against Cleveland and will do so again this weekend versus Philadelphia. He upgraded to a full practice Friday after being deemed limited the first two days of the week, so he shouldn't have any limitations Sunday. Johnson has logged 54 tackles and four defensed passes through 12 contests, though he's yet to notch a sack or an interception.

Dolphins' Isaiah Johnson: Suffers torn ACL
Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Friday that Johnson tore his ACL in Thursday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The 25-year-old appeared in four games prior to tearing his ACL, recording three total tackles across 58 total snaps (55 on special teams, three on special teams). With Johnson now sidelined, Ethan Robinson is expected to operate as the Dolphins' top reserve slot corner.

Bills' Joey Bosa: No injury designation for Week 17
Bosa (hamstring) has been cleared to play Sunday against Philadelphia.
Bosa has been dealing with a hamstring issue since late November, but after missing Week 14 against Cincinnati he was able to suit up in each of Buffalo's past two games. The veteran pass rusher will again take the field this Sunday as the Bills remain in the hunt for the top spot in the AFC East. Bosa has 5.0 sacks through 11 contests in his first season with the Buffalo.
