  • Brandon Pili DT | SEA

Seahawks' Brandon Pili: Enters concussion protocol

Pili (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Cardinals, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Pili has entered the league's concussion protocol and will miss the rest of Sunday's game. The defensive tackle will need to progress through the five-step protocol and be cleared by an independent neurologist to return to the field. Rylie Mills is now the sole reserve defensive tackle available to the Seahawks in Sunday's game.

  • Jalen Coker WR | CAR

Panthers' Jalen Coker: Busy day in big win

Coker brought in eight of nine targets for 66 yards and returned two punts for 49 yards in the Panthers' 34-3 win over the Falcons on Sunday.

Coker didn't generate the splash plays that were a big part of his Week 1 body of work against the Bears, but the speedy wideout led the Panthers in receptions and finished second to Tetairoa McMillan in both receiving yards and targets. Coker averaged a modest 8.3 yards per grab on the afternoon, yet his stellar catch rate -- he's brought in 16 of 18 targets through his first two games -- and sizable role in the air attack makes him a highly appealing option in all formats heading into a Week 3 road matchup against the Browns next Sunday.

  • 49ers' Romello Height: Back in action

Height (hand) has returned to Sunday's contest against the Dolphins, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Height was briefly sidelined with a hand injury, but he has made his return to the field. The defensive lineman will continue to operate as a primary reserve option behind Keion White and Nick Bosa versus Miami.

  • Jayden Daniels QB | WAS

Commanders' Jayden Daniels: Carted off field after arm injury

Daniels was carted off the field at the conclusion of the first half of Sundays' game against Dallas due to a left arm injury, Tashan Reed of The Washington Post reports.

Daniels stumbled while taking the snap on the final play of the first half, and his left arm bent awkwardly while he was trying to catch himself from falling on the field. It's the same arm in which he suffered a dislocated elbow last season, and he's been carted to the locker room to undergo further tests. Assuming Daniels doesn't return, Marcus Mariota will take over under center for the Commanders, with rookie seventh-rounder Athan Kaliakmanis (coach's decision) serving as the team's emergency third quarterback.

  • Kyle Pitts TE | ATL

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Records first catch of season

Pitts brought in one of three targets for 15 yards in the Falcons' 34-3 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.

Pitts was able to make his mark in the catch column for the first time in the new season, but that one reception turned out to be his only contribution on the afternoon. However, given Cooper Rush and Jack Strand combined to throw for only 145 yards and three interceptions, Pitts' sparse production is largely explained away. The talented tight end figures to see his outlook brighten whenever Michael Penix (knee) or Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) are able to suit up, with a Week 3 Thursday night road matchup against the Packers their next opportunity to do so.

  • Tyson Bagent QB | CHI

Bears' Tyson Bagent: Needed in relief Sunday

Bagent completed five of nine passes for 54 yards in Sunday's 9-3 loss to the Vikings.

Starting QB Caleb Williams left the game in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury, forcing Bagent into action on a wet and windy day at Soldier Field. The Bears will have a better idea of Williams' status after further testing, and they do get an extra day to prepare for a Monday night game at home against the Eagles in Week 3, but Bagent stands a good chance of getting the start for that contest with Case Keenum as his backup.

  • Jack Jones CB | SF

49ers' Jack Jones: Questionable with foot injury

Jones (foot) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Jones sustained a foot injury in the first half of Sunday's contest. The reserve cornerback is the only active option behind starters Deommodore Lenoir and Renardo Green, meaning that if either goes down, safeties Marques Sigle or Siran Neal will likely be required to operate at outside cornerback.

  • David Njoku TE | LAC

Chargers' David Njoku: Ruled out Sunday

Njoku (knee) won't return to Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Njoku was carted off the field in the second quarter due to a knee injury, which initially left him questionable to reenter this Week 2 contest. Now that he's ruled out, he'll end it with one catch (on three targets) for nine yards. Charlie Kolar and Oronde Gadsden will man tight end for the rest of Sunday's outing.

  • 49ers' Romello Height: Exits with ankle injury

Height (hand) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Height exited the first half of Sunday's matchup due to a hand issue. The defensive end will likely return if the hand is not fractured or injured in such a way that it could be made worse by playing.

  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Otherworldly numbers in Week 2 loss

Schultz brought in 12 of 14 targets for 140 yards in the Texans' 20-6 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.

Schultz eye-popping stat line came on an afternoon where C.J. Stroud threw for 353 yards despite the Texans accruing a sparse six points, and in which Nico Collins (hamstring) was sidelined. Stroud and Schultz were able to repeatedly exploit the one prominent weakness of a seemingly improved Bengals defense, and the veteran tight end's yardage total was a career-high figure. Despite the unexpected breakout performance, Schultz's role will narrow whenever Collins is able to return to action.
