Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Logs limited practice Wednesday
Evans (collarbone) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Evans returned to action last Thursday against the Falcons for the first time since breaking his collarbone during Week 7 action at Detroit, and he managed to log a 54 percent snap share en route to six catches (on 12 targets) for 132 yards. His practice limitations this week likely are related to maintenance, but his status still bears watching as the weekend draws closer to ensure he'll be available Sunday in Carolina.

Saints' Devin Neal: Won't play Week 16
Saints head coach Kellen Moore said Wednesday that Neal (hamstring) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jets, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Neal will miss at least one game due to the hamstring injury that forced him out of New Orleans's win over the Panthers in Week 15, in which he drew a third straight start in place of Alvin Kamara (knee/ankle). With Neal now ruled out and Kamara still not practicing, Evan Hull and Audric Estime now become candidates to lead the Saints' backfield heading into a crucial Week 16 fantasy slate. Hull and Estime split time versus Carolina after Neal departed with injury.

Titans' Van Jefferson: Misses practice Wednesday
Jefferson (back) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Jefferson exited Sunday's 37-24 loss to the 49ers with a back injury after logging 31snaps, and the wideout will now has two more chances to practice in advance of this weekend's contest against the Chiefs. If Jefferson -- who has caught 24 passes for 280 yards and a TD in 14 contests to date -- is unavailable in Week 16, added snaps behind Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike would be available for James Proche and Mason Kinsey.

Jimmy Holiday: Lands on Chiefs' practice squad
Kansas City signed Holiday to the practice squad Wednesday.
Holiday spent time with the Chiefs this offseason then bounced on and off the team's practice squad early in the regular season. He then landed on Seattle's practice squad late November, and the Seahawks cut him Dec. 13. Now, Holiday will resume handling an emergency depth role with Kansas City.

The Chiefs announced Wednesday that Johnson (shoulder) had his practice window opened to return from IR..
Johnson has missed the entire regular season thus far due to a shoulder injury sustained during Kansas City's second preseason contest. Now, he'll have a 21-day window to resume practicing without counting against the 53-man roster, wherein he can be activated at any time. If Johnson manages to return to action this season, he'll stand to handle a rotational role on defense.

Titans' Gunnar Helm: Limited with toe injury
Helm (toe) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Helm impressed in Week 15, securing all four of his targets for 49 yards and a touchdown, though he briefly had to leave the field due to a toe injury in the process. The rookie fifth-round pick has drawn at least four targets in four of his last five appearances and established himself as a reliable part of Tennessee's passing game alongside fellow tight end Chig Okonkwo.

Chiefs' Jake Briningstool: Practice window opens
The Chiefs announced Wednesday that Briningstool (hamstring) had his practice window opened to return from IR.
Briningstool will have a 21-day window to practice without counting against the 53-man roster, and if healthy, he could be activated from IR and return to action as early as Sunday versus the Titans. The depth tight end has missed the entire regular season so far due to a hamstring injury that dates back to the start of training camp.

Packers' Micah Parsons: Officially placed on IR
The Packers placed Parsons (ACL) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Parsons' placement on IR comes after he sustained a season-ending torn left ACL during Green Bay's loss to the Broncos in Week 15. In his inaugural campaign with the Packers, Parsons appeared in 14 regular-season contests and racked up 41 tackles (19 solo) including 12.5 sacks. He also had one pass defensed and two forced fumbles. Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that Parsons isn't expected to be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign, but it's possible he could miss only the first three games of the regular season based on the usual recovery timetable for Green Bay players who undergo ACL reconstruction procedures.

Falcons' Drake London: Limited in return to practice
London (knee) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
London has missed the past four games due to a PCL sprain in his left knee, but his return to practice Wednesday was preceded by coach Raheem Morris telling Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com that the wide receiver now is considered "day-to-day." London will have two more chances to mix into drills this week to prove his health ahead of Sunday's contest at Arizona.

Lloyd (calf/hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur recently hinted that Lloyd is unlikely to play this season. The running back injured his calf while rehabbing from a hamstring injury and then tweaked the hamstring once his calf got better. That's about how things have gone for Lloyd through two pro seasons.
