  • Bears' Tremaine Edmunds: Limited in return to practice

Edmunds (groin) was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Edmunds missed the Bears' last four games due to a groin injury, but he was designated to return from IR on Monday and has progressed enough in his recovery to participate in practice, albeit in a limited capacity during Tuesday's walkthrough. He would need to be activated from IR in order to be available for Saturday's NFC North tilt against the Packers. D'Marco Jackson has started in each of the Bears' last four games, but he would likely revert to a rotational role on defense and contributor on special teams once Edmunds is cleared to return.

  • Josh Whyle TE | GB

Packers' Josh Whyle: Listed as DNP Tuesday

Whyle (concussion) was estimated as a non-participant for the Packers' walkthrough practice Tuesday.

Whyle suffered a concussion in the first quarter of Sunday's game at Denver, and now he's in jeopardy of missing Saturday's game at Chicago. He'll probably have to return to practice in some capacity Wednesday or Thursday to have any chance of playing in Week 16.

  • Eddie Goldman NT | WAS

Commanders' Eddie Goldman: Doesn't practice Tuesday

Goldman (concussion) was a non-participant in Tuesday's practice, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.

Goldman suffered a concussion in Sunday's win over the Giants and appears to still be having symptoms. In order for him to suit up against the Eagles on Saturday, he'll need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and presumably return to practice in some capacity. If Goldman can't play in Week 16, Jer'Zhan Newton is among those who could see an uptick in defensive snaps.

  • Packers' Chris Brooks: Dealing with chest issue

Brooks (chest) was estimated as a limited participant for the Packers' walkthrough practice Tuesday.

Brooks was a bit more involved in the offense in Week 15 with Josh Jacobs playing through a lingering knee injury, but it looks like he might have hurt his chest during Sunday's game. He still has two more chances to log a full practice before Green Bay releases its final practice report of the week Thursday.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Held out of Tuesday's session

    The Packers listed Watson (chest/shoulder) as a non-participant in Tuesday's walk-through practice.

Watson avoided a major injury after he was briefly hospitalized following a hard fall to the turf during Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Broncos, but his availability for this Saturday's game in Chicago still appears to be very much up in the air. His absence Tuesday doesn't come as a major surprise, and he'll likely need to get in some on-field work by Thursday in order to put himself on a path to play this weekend. Head coach Matt LaFleur said that a decision on the wideout's status could be taken "up to game time," per Zach Kruse of USA Today.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Bears' Travis Homer: Limited to open Week 16 prep

Homer (ankle) was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Homer picked up an ankle injury during the Bears' Week 14 loss to the Packers, which prevented him from playing in Sunday's win over the Browns. He'll have two more opportunities to increase his practice participation and give himself a chance to return for Saturday's NFC North tilt against Green Bay. When healthy, Homer has mostly contributed on special teams while providing backfield depth behind D'Andre Swift and rookie seventh-rounder Kyle Monangai.

  • Tyson Bagent QB | CHI

Bears' Tyson Bagent: No longer under the weather

Bagent (illness) was a full participant in Tuesday's walkthrough practice.

Bagent was unable to serve as Caleb Williams' backup quarterback during Sunday's win over the Browns due to an illness. By working in full Tuesday, Bagent is on track to be available against the Packers on Saturday, so Case Keenum will likely revert to the QB3 role.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Sits out walk-through practice

Barkley was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report due to a stinger.

Barkley is tending to a stinger in the aftermath of the Eagles' 31-0 win over the Raiders this past Sunday, when he rushed for 78 yards and one touchdown on 22 carries and added two catches for 14 yards on three targets. Assuming he can mover past the neck issue in the coming days, Barkley will be in line for another favorable matchup this Saturday against Washington's 28th-ranked run defense.

  • Commanders' Chris Rodriguez: Practicing fully ahead of Week 16

Rodriguez (groin) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports.

Rodriguez went DNP-limited-limited in practice last week and ended up being inactive for Sunday's win over the Giants. However, it now appears he's ready to return to the lineup. Jacory Croskey-Merritt was impressive in Rodriguez's absence, rushing for 82 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries. A more even split of early-down work between Rodrguez and Croskey-Merritt could be coming Saturday against the Eagles.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Sidelined for walk-through practice

Wicks (ankle) was listed as a non-participant for Tuesday's walk-through practice.

The Packers listed Wicks on their Week 15 injury report with the same ankle issue, but he played Sunday and finished with one catch for six yards on two targets while playing 28 of 66 snaps. Green Bay hasn't indicated that Wicks is dealing with any sort of setback, but the wideout's lack of activity Tuesday creates a little doubt regarding his availability for Saturday's game against the Bears. If he does play, Wicks could be primed for a larger role in the passing game with Christian Watson (chest/shoulder) looking like more of a question mark at this stage.
