Landman (shoulder) will be a limited participant in Saturday's practice, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Landman has been limited in every practice of Week 2. The inside linebacker appears to be able to navigate his shoulder issue, but it remains unclear whether he is capable of sustaining NFL contact with the injury. If Landman cannot suit up, Shaun Dolac will likely start at inside linebacker next to Omar Speights (hip) for Monday's game against the Giants.

Whittington (quadriceps) is doubtful to play in Monday's game against the Giants, Benjamin Royer of The Orange County Register reports.

Whittington has not practiced since sustaining his quadriceps injury in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. The wide receiver's likely absence for Monday's contest would be made even worse if Puka Nacua (groin) were also unable to suit up. Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith could see increased roles against the Giants, but if multiple wide receivers must miss time, it is likely the Rams will live in 13-personnel packages with the team's deep tight end corps.

Coach Sean McVay said Nacua (hip) won't practice Saturday and will be listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Giants, Benjamin Royer of The Orange County Register reports.

Nacua thus will miss practice for a second day in a row to end Week 2 prep, and McVay also told Royer that the wide receiver is dealing with some soreness in his groin, but the Rams will see how he feels as Monday's kickoff approaches. The issue apparently is different than the psoas soreness that Nacua tended to during training camp, and his status very well could come down to a game-time decision.

Davis (neck) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Davis was listed as questionable after Friday's practice. The cornerback was unable to practice at all in Week 2, making it unsurprising that he will be incapable of suiting up for Sunday's contest. Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports that Charles Woods is likely the next man up at outside cornerback.

Van Ness (concussion) no longer holds any injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.

Van Ness has completed the NFL's five-step concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's contest. The starting weakside linebacker was cleared by an independent neurologist and is all set to suit up opposite strongside linebacker Barryn Sorrell for the Packers' away contest with the Jets.

Hargrave (concussion/knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.

Hargrave was listed as doubtful after Friday's practice, so it is no surprise that the nose tackle has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's contest. The 33-year-old was able to log only one limited practice session throughout Week 2, meaning he will still need to upgrade to full participation and clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in Week 3 before even thinking about stepping back on a game-day field.

The Saints elevated Austin from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Austin was elevated for the Saints' 31-30 overtime loss to the Lions in Week 1. The wide receiver played just six total snaps in the contest that ran past four quarters. Austin will likely play a similar role against the Ravens in Week 2, only making it onto the field as a depth option when necessary.

The Jaguars elevated Mullens to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday.

Mullens was elevated for the Jaguars' Week 1 win over the Browns last Sunday. The quarterback took seven offensive snaps for the team in the fourth quarter, once the game was all but over. The 31-year-old veteran is set to play the backup role to Trevor Lawrence again and should only enter the game if Lawrence goes down or the team gets to garbage time.

Gray (concussion) does not have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Gray logged three straight practices as a full participant in Week 2. The starting weakside linebacker has been cleared by an independent neurologist to play in Sunday's contest and is all set to suit up opposite James Williams (elbow) or Owen Pappoe on the strong side.

Porter (back) wants a long-term contract, regardless of where he will play it out, Jonathan Jones of the Athletic reports.

Porter has already been ruled out ahead of the Steelers' matchup with the Patriots on Sunday due to a back issue. The cornerback has consistently logged limited sessions with the issue, but there is a chance he is holding back as he awaits a long-term extension. If the Steelers are adamant about saving cap space, the inevitable result of the dispute may be a trade.
