  • Ravens' Nnamdi Madubuike: Limited participant Wednesday

Madubuike (neck) was a limited participant at the Ravens' practice Wednesday.

Madubuike was limited at practice throughout the entire week before he was ultimately unable to play during the team's 41-23 win over Indianapolis in Week 1. The defensive lineman is on the cusp of appearing in his first contest since suffering a neck injury last September, and he'll have two more opportunities to increase his participation and log a full practice before Sunday's contest against the Saints.

  • Elijah Molden CB | LAC

Chargers' Elijah Molden: Does not practice Wednesday

Molden (hamstring) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's practice report.

Molden tweaked his hamstring during the Chargers' 26-14 loss to the Cardinals this past Sunday, finishing the game with five tackles (three solo). He'll have two more chances to return to practice in at least a limited capacity ahead of the Chargers' Week 2 tilt against the Raiders this Sunday. Rookie fourth-rounder Genesis Smith and veteran Tony Jefferson would be the top candidates to start at safety alongside Derwin James if Molden is not cleared to play against Las Vegas.

  • Vikings' Andrew Van Ginkel: Limited Wednesday

Van Ginkel (chest) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

The Vikings' starting weakside linebacker logged 1.5 sacks over 55 defensive snaps in last Sunday's 39-22 win over the Packers. While Van Ginkel had a strong showing, the linebacker likely suffered his chest injury during the game. The 31-year-old will need to upgrade to full practice participation by Friday to avoid an injury designation ahead of next Sunday's game against the Bears.

  • 49ers' Eddy Pineiro: Misses practice with illness

Pineiro (illness) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

It's not clear exactly what kind of sickness Pineiro is dealing with, but he does have until Sunday to get better. His status will still be worth keeping an eye on when San Francisco publishes its Thursday and Friday injury reports, as the team does not carry another kicker on its active roster or its practice squad.

  • Derius Davis WR | LAC

Chargers' Derius Davis: Practices in full Wednesday

Davis (undisclosed) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Davis sustained an unspecified injury during the Chargers' 26-14 loss to the Cardinals in Week 1, but his full practice participation Wednesday puts the 2023 fourth-rounder on track to play against the Raiders on Sunday. Davis returned two kickoffs for 33 yards and recorded a tackle prior to his exit against Arizona.

  • Ravens' Teddye Buchanan: Limited practice to open week

Buchanan (knee) was a limited participant at the Ravens' practice Wednesday.

Buchanan was unable to play Week 1 versus the Colts after logging three limited practices, and he appears to have picked up where he left off by opening the week with another limited session. The linebacker is working his way back from a torn ACL that he suffered in Week 12 of the 2025 campaign, and he'll have two more chances to log a full practice before Sunday's matchup with New Orleans.

  • Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown: Misses practice Wednesday

Overshown (hamstring) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Overshown is expected to miss one to two weeks with the hamstring injury he suffered during Sunday's loss against the Giants, so his absence from practice Wednesday makes sense. He'd probably need to return to practice Thursday or Friday to give himself a chance to suit up in Week 2.

  • Blake Cashman LB | MIN

Vikings' Blake Cashman: Limited participant Wednesday

Cashman (wrist) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Cashman likely suffered his wrist injury during the Vikings' 39-22 win over the Packers last Sunday. The linebacker played 96 percent of the team's defensive snaps, logging seven tackles (five solo), including 0.5 sacks, in a game that he likely played through injury. Cashman will need to upgrade to a full practice participant by Friday to avoid an injury designation ahead of next Sunday's game against the Bears.

  • Shemar Stewart DE | CIN

Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Logs full practice Wednesday

Stewart (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Stewart did not play in the Bengals' 33-27 Week 1 win over the Buccaneers due to a hyperextended knee that he sustained in a training camp practice in late July. However, his ability to practice in full Wednesday indicates that he'll be available to make his 2026 debut this Sunday against the Texans. Stewart appeared in eight regular-season games last year, finishing with 11 tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defense.

  • Ravens' Trey Hendrickson: Misses practice Wednesday

Hendrickson (finger) did not participate at the Ravens' practice Wednesday.

Hendrickson notched one solo tackle in his regular-season debut with Baltimore during the team's 41-23 win over the Colts in Week 1. It appears as if the 31-year-old may have suffered a finger injury during the game, and he'll have two more chances to log a full practice prior to Sunday's matchup against New Orleans.
