  • Malik Benson WR | LV

Raiders' Malik Benson: Negative yardage in NFL debut

Benson caught one pass (on two targets) for six yards while taking his lone carry for minus-8 yards during the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also returned two punts for 35 yards.

Benson caught a six-yard pass from Kirk Cousins in what was the former's first NFL catch, though he lost eight yards on a double reverse that the Dolphins defense snuffed out. Benson's seven snaps on offense were the fewest among Raiders wide receivers Sunday, and even with Brock Bowers (knee) sidelined, the rookie sixth-rounder figures to be an afterthought in Las Vegas' offense, though he'll have the opportunity to make plays on special teams as a punt returner.

  • Mitchell Evans TE | CAR

Panthers' Mitchell Evans: Limited offensive output in Week 1

Evans caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 59-37 loss to the Bears.

Evans was on the field for 27 of the team's 68 offensive snaps while operating as the team's primary reserve option at tight end behind Tommy Tremble. Evans also logged 17 snaps with the special-teams unit, and he will continue to have limited offensive upside in Week 2 against the Falcons.

  • Tommy Tremble TE | CAR

Panthers' Tommy Tremble: Three catches in loss

Tremble caught three of his five targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 59-37 loss to the Bears.

Tremble played 34 offensive snaps, which equated to just under 56 percent of the Panthers' total offensive plays. The tight end also contributed 11 special-teams snaps in the losing effort, showing some versatility in what was a productive offensive day for the Panthers overall.

  • Jalen Nailor WR | LV

Raiders' Jalen Nailor: Three catches in Las Vegas debut

Nailor caught three passes (on five targets) for 27 yards during the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Nailor ended up leading all Raiders wide receivers in targets, though he finished third in that category behind Michael Mayer (seven) and running back Ashton Jeanty (six). Even with Brock Bowers (knee) sidelined, it looks like Nailor will operate in a complementary role in the Raiders offense, especially in games where Jeanty gets it going as he did against Miami. Nailor will look for better results Week 2 on the road against the Chargers.

  • Jahdae Walker WR | CHI

Bears' Jahdae Walker: Secures touchdown in win

Walker caught his only target for a one-yard touchdown during Sunday's 59-37 win over the Panthers.

Walker made the most of his only touch on offense, reeling in a pass from Caleb Williams for a one-yard score late in the fourth quarter. The wide receiver was on the field for 34 of the team's 75 total offensive snaps, and he added two tackles while playing 16 snaps with the special-teams unit in the contest.

  • Henry To'oTo'o LB | HOU

Texans' Henry To'oTo'o: Might have to go on IR

To'oTo'o might end up on injured reserve after hurting his shoulder during Sunday's 36-31 loss to the Bills, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that the team was still deciding on To'oTo'o's status. The linebacker was seen wearing a sling after the game. To'oTo'o suffered the injury late in the fourth quarter after playing 46 snaps.

  • Jake Hummel LB | HOU

Texans' Jake Hummel: Week-to-week with groin injury

Hummel (groin) is considered week-to-week, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Hummel suffered a groin injury in the third quarter of Sunday's 36-31 loss to the Bills. The linebacker will almost certainly miss the Texans' Week 2 game against the Bengals. Jake Hansen will likely start as the second outside linebacker in Hummel's absence, but the team will probably rely on more nickel packages with Jalen Pitre in the slot while Hummel is absent.

  • Buccaneers' Jacob Parrish: Suffers back sprain

Parrish suffered a back sprain in Sunday's 33-27 loss to the Bengals, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Both the MRI and X-ray came back negative, so the cornerback has avoided any significant damage to his spine. Parrish's ability to return to the field will now be entirely dictated by how well he can manage and play through the pain. The 22-year-old's availability for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Browns will likely be determined by his level of participation during practice this week.

  • Kyle Louis LB | MIA

Dolphins' Kyle Louis: Set to miss at least one contest

Louis (knee) is expected to miss the Dolphins' Week 2 matchup against the 49ers, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Louis suffered a knee injury in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Raiders, and he will now be sidelined for at least one contest moving forward. The rookie logged three snaps on defense and 14 snaps with the special-teams unit before his departure in Week 1, and his absence will likely have little impact on the team's defensive approach versus San Francisco.

  • Raiders' Fernando Mendoza: Observes Week 1 from sidelines

Mendoza did not see the field during the Raiders' 27-13 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.

Kirk Cousins was named the Raiders' starter in early September, and the veteran quarterback commanded the offense sufficiently in Sunday's win, completing 21 of 30 targets for 160 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Mendoza is firmly entrenched as the backup, though the rookie first-overall pick could take over as the Raiders' starter later this season if Cousins' production dips.
