  • Falcons' Olamide Zaccheaus: Jack-of-all-trades for Week 1

Zaccheaus will serve as the Falcons' WR3, the backup returner on punts and kickoffs, and the emergency third option at both quarterback and running back for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Steelers, Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com reports.

The Falcons have two quarterbacks (Cooper Rush and Jack Strand) and two running backs (Bijan Robinson and Brian Robinson) on the game-day roster for Sunday's regular-season opener. Most of Zaccheaus' playing time figures to come on three-wideout sets as he works behind Drake London and Jahan Dotson, with rookie third-rounder Zachariah Branch also in the mix for offensive snaps.

  • Justin Skule OT | TB

Buccaneers' Justin Skule: Inactive for Week 1

Skule (oblique) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Skule was listed as doubtful after being limited in practice all week. The 29-year-old lineman appeared in 16 games with the Vikings last season, making nine starts. He has 82 career regular-season games of experience.

  • Steelers' Gennings Dunker: Inactive against Atlanta

Dunker (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Dunker was a third-round pick out of Iowa earlier this year but will begin his career behind Ryan McCollum and Brock Hoffman as the top reserves on the interior of the offensive line.

  • Ozzy Trapilo OT | CHI

Bears' Ozzy Trapilo: Not playing Sunday

Trapilo (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Trapilo has been working through a patellar knee injury since January. He was limited in all three practice sessions this past week, but he has not progressed enough in his recovery to be active. Trapilo's next chance to suit up is Week 2 against the Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 20.

  • Gabriel Rubio DE | PIT

Steelers' Gabriel Rubio: Inactive for Week 1

Rubio (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

The sixth-round rookie is a healthy inactive to begin his pro career. He played 95 snaps across defense and special teams during the preseason, generating a pair of quarterback pressures.

  • Jack Endries TE | CIN

    Bengals' Jack Endries: Inactive Sunday

Endries (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Bucs.

The tight end is buried on the depth chart behind Mike Gesicki, Drew Sample and Erick All. Endries did earn a roster spot out of training camp after getting picked in the seventh round by the Bengals back in April.

  • Browns' Parker Brailsford: Inactive for Week 1

Brailsford (thumb) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Brailsford was limited in practice all week before being listed as questionable to face Jacksonville. The fifth-round rookie has been dealing with a thumb issue for more than a month.

  • Tanner Koziol TE | JAC

Jaguars' Tanner Koziol: Healthy scratch vs. Cleveland

Koziol (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Koziol, the Jaguars' fifth-round pick of the 2026 NFL Draft, will be a healthy inactive for Week 1, so his next chance to make his regular-season debut is Week 2 against the Broncos on Sunday, Sept. 20. Brenton Strange, Quintin Morris and rookie second-rounder Nate Boerkircher will be Jacksonville's active tight ends against Cleveland.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Saints' Zach Wilson: Serving as QB3 for Week 1

Wilson (coach's decision) is inactive as the emergency third quarterback for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Spencer Rattler kept his gig as the QB2 behind Tyler Shough this summer, leaving Wilson as the emergency option entering the season. Wilson appeared in four games with the Dolphins last season, completing six of 11 passes for 32 yards.

  • Shemar Stewart DE | CIN

Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Unable to play Sunday

Stewart (knee) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Buccaneers.

The defensive end logged a full practice Wednesday, a limited session Thursday and entered the weekend with a doubtful designation. Stewart missed training camp and the preseason after hyperextending his knee in late July, though he returned to practice in early September. It appears that he needs a little more time before he plays in a regular-season game.
