  • Will Kacmarek TE | MIA

Dolphins' Will Kacmarek: Limited at practice Wednesday

Kacmarek (calf) was limited during Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Though Kacmarek appeared to be a full participant in an unofficial practice session Monday, the rookie tight end had his reps capped to begin Week 1 prep. For his part, Kacmarek didn't suggest that he's dealing with any setback with the calf injury, as he told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald after Wednesday's practice that he expects to play in Sunday's season opener in Las Vegas.

  • Quincy Riley CB | NO

Saints' Quincy Riley: Practices on Wednesday

Riley (groin) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Riley exited practice on Aug. 18 due to a groin injury. The cornerback has been sidelined since the incident but is now back in action. Riley should be all set to start at outside cornerback in Sunday's Week 1 contest against the Lions.

  • Pete Werner LB | NO

Saints' Pete Werner: Full participant Wednesday

Werner (groin) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Werner spent most of August dealing with a groin injury he sustained in a training camp practice. The linebacker has fully recovered from the issue and is all set to practice in full as the Saints prepare for a Week 1 clash with the Lions.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Not listed on injury report

Gordon (ribs) is not listed on Wednesday's injury report, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Gordon recently returned to practice without a non-contact jersey. With his full participation in Wednesday's practice, all signs are pointing toward his availability for Week 1 versus the Raiders. The 22-year-old finished the 2025 campaign by rushing for 199 yards and three touchdowns off 70 carries, adding seven grabs for 32 yards and a touchdown in 17 regular-season appearances. Gordon currently occupies the No. 3 spot on the depth chart behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright.

  • Packers' Dani Dennis-Sutton: Practices on Wednesday

Dennis-Sutton (illness) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Dennis-Sutton was plagued by an illness in the middle of August. The rookie fourth-rounder has since recovered from the issue and returned to full practice participation in time for the Packers' Week 1 game against the Vikings.

  • Colton Hood CB | NYG

Giants' Colton Hood: Avoids injury report

Hood (quadriceps) was not listed on the Giants' injury report Wednesday.

Hood sustained a quadriceps injury during a training camp practice in mid-August. It appears the rookie second-rounder has recovered from the injury based on Wednesday's report, putting him on track to make his NFL regular-season debut Sunday against the Cowboys. He figures to operate in a rotational role in the secondary, with most of his reps coming on special teams.

  • Packers' Carrington Valentine: Participates on Wednesday

Valentine (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.

Valentine suffered a hamstring injury during an early August practice. The cornerback was sidelined with the injury throughout the preseason, so a full practice during the Packers' first official regular-season practice is a huge step up. Valentine should be all set to suit up as the primary depth cornerback in Sunday's Week 1 divisional matchup with the Vikings.

  • Cardinals' Blake Gillikin: Practices in full Wednesday

Gillikin (groin) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Gillikin has been battling a groin injury for a few weeks, though his full participation in Wednesday's practice is a positive sign regarding his availability for the Week 1 meeting with the Chargers.

  • Giants' Francis Mauigoa: Healthy ahead of Week 1

Mauigoa (upper body) was not listed on the Giants' official injury report Wednesday.

Mauigoa suffered a minor injury during a joint practice with the Dolphins in August, but it doesn't seem like it will affect his availability for Sunday's game versus the Cowboys. The rookie first-rounder projects to start at right guard for his new club.

  • Giants' Greg Newsome: Not listed on injury report

Newsome (knee) was not listed on the injury report following Wednesday's practice.

Newsome was working through a knee issue during training camp, but his full participation in Wednesday's practice indicates that he'll play against the Cowboys on Sunday. Newsome joined the Giants in March on a one-year, $10 million contract, and he projects to start opposite Deonte Banks at outside corner, while Paulson Adebo and rookie second-rounder Colton Hood provide depth at the position. Newsome appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2025, finishing with 29 tackles (23 solo) and six pass defenses (including one interception).
