  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon II: Week 4 Waiver Priority List

De'Von Achane (knee) is out for the season with a torn ACL, and the Dolphins will lean on Gordon and Wright as the replacement options. Long-term, I expect Wright to be the better Miami running back, but he missed Week 3 against Kansas City with a foot injury and is considered day to day heading into Week 4 at Minnesota. Gordon played against the Chiefs when Achane was injured and had 17 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown and three catches for 14 yards on three targets. In 2025, Achane left Week 14 against the Jets with an injury and didn't play in Week 18 against New England. Wright had 24 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown against the Jets, as well as 13 carries for 23 yards and two catches for 17 yards against the Patriots. Gordon had five carries for 17 yards and a touchdown against the Jets and nine carries for 9 yards, along with one catch for 2 yards, against the Patriots. This is a different coaching staff, so we'll see who gets more work in Achane's absence. Keep in mind, Achane wasn't having a great start to the season in this offense, and I don't expect Wright or Gordon to be an upgrade. Given Wright's injury, you can spend up to 15 percent of your remaining FAAB in Gordon for Week 4. But I would rather stash Wright for 10-15 percent of your FAAB since I expect him to eventually be better than Gordon as the season goes on.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Racks up 20 touches after Achane injury

Gordon rushed 17 times for 41 yards and a touchdown while catching all three of his targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Chiefs. Gordon capitalized on his added opportunities after De'Von Achane (knee) exited the game in the first quarter. The 2025 sixth-round pick capped Miami's 17-play, 91-yard opening drive with a three-yard touchdown run, one play after Gordon converted a third-and-9 with an 11-yard run. Miami's offense produced just three points the rest of the way and Gordon exited briefly due to cramps but returned. Achane is feared to have a major injury, and if Jaylen Wright (foot) is also unable to play against the Vikings in Week 3, Gordon would be in line to handle a substantial workload again in the Dolphins' struggling offense.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Makes return to Sunday's game

Gordon (cramps) checked back into Sunday's game against the Chiefs in the fourth quarter, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports. Gordon was labeled questionable to return after experiencing cramping in the third quarter, but he appears to have responded well to treatment. His availability for the rest of Sunday's contest is critical, as he's the Dolphins' lone available running back after De'Von Achane (knee) exited early and Jaylen Wright (foot) was inactive for the game.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Rushes for seven yards in Week 2 loss

Gordon rushed three times for seven yards in Sunday's 35-13 loss to the 49ers. The running back wasn't targeted in the passing game and saw some increased action after Jaylen Wright exited the game with a neck stinger. Neither back has much fantasy value outside of being an end-of-bench stash in the event something happens to De'Von Achane. The offense is bad enough that neither Gordon nor Wright would even be useful if Achane did go down.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Barely involved in loss

Gordon played three of the Dolphins' 56 offensive snaps during Sunday's 27-13 loss at Las Vegas. Gordon also played five snaps on special teams, but he made no mark in the Week 1 box score. It appears Pro Bowler De'Von Achane will likely have a firm hold on the lion's share of the snaps in Miami's backfield for as long as he remains available.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Not listed on injury report

Gordon (ribs) is not listed on Wednesday's injury report, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Gordon recently returned to practice without a non-contact jersey. With his full participation in Wednesday's practice, all signs are pointing toward his availability for Week 1 versus the Raiders. The 22-year-old finished the 2025 campaign by rushing for 199 yards and three touchdowns off 70 carries, adding seven grabs for 32 yards and a touchdown in 17 regular-season appearances. Gordon currently occupies the No. 3 spot on the depth chart behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Ditches non-contact jersey

Gordon (ribs) was able to practice with contact in Monday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Gordon has finally returned to practice without the non-contact jersey. The running back may be ready to go for Miami's Week 1 matchup with the Raiders on Sunday, but he could be held out as a precaution. The second-year pro is set to serve as the No. 3 option behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright, meaning the Dolphins arguably have the luxury of giving Gordon an extra week to recover if necessary.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Practicing in non-contact jersey

Gordon (ribs) is practicing in a non-contact jersey Wednesday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports. Gordon was injured in the Dolphins' second preseason game and missed the final exhibition contest last week. Across two preseason appearances, Gordon rushed 11 times for 47 yards and caught one of his two targets for 10 yards. He's competing with Jaylen Wright for the backup role behind De'Von Achane this season.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Nursing rib injury

Gordon injured his ribs during the Dolphins' 26-3 preseason loss to the Giants on Saturday, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports. The injury is a minor one, as head coach Jeff Hafley relayed Sunday that Gordon would have been cleared to return had it been a regular-season game. Gordon's practice participation over the coming days will be worth monitoring, as it will indicate whether the 2025 sixth-rounder will play in Friday's preseason finale against the Falcons. He is competing against Jaylen Wright for the RB2 role behind De'Von Achane.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Exits game Saturday

Gordon exited Miami's preseason game versus the Giants on Sunday with an undisclosed injury, Chris Perkins of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Gordon went to the locker room just before halftime, although the nature of his injury is currently unknown. The 22-year-old rushed for eight yards on four carries and caught his only target for an additional 10 yards before leaving the game. Gordon is competing with Jaylen Wright for the top backup role behind De'Von Achane.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: No touches on offense

Gordon did not log a carry or target during Miami's 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. Gordon has now operated in a clear depth role behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright in three consecutive games, in which span he's combined for minus-1 rushing yards on three carries. The rookie sixth-round pick played a career-high 15 snaps on special teams versus Tampa Bay, during which he also logged one assisted tackle. Gordon stands to operate as the Dolphins' third-string running back again during the team's regular-season finale on the road against New England in Week 18.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Only one carry in Week 16 loss

Gordon carried the ball once for one yard during Sunday's 45-21 loss to the Bengals. Gordon operated as the clear No. 3 man out of the backfield for Miami, while De'Von Achane rushed 15 times for 81 yards and a touchdown and Jaylen Wright logged nine carries for 35 yards and a score. The rookie sixth-round pick has definitively been overtaken by Wright as the top backup to Achane, so he can be expected to remain in the third-string role as the Dolphins close out the 2025 campaign versus Tampa Bay in Week 17 and against the Patriots in Week 18.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Backs up Wright after Achane injury

Gordon rushed five times for 17 yards and a touchdown but wasn't targeted in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Jets. Jaylen Wright (24 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown) was the primary beneficiary of De'Von Achane's (ribs) second-quarter exit, but Gordon contributed a seven-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. More opportunities could be available for both Wright and Gordon if Achane's sidelined or limited against the Steelers in Week 15. Gordon has scored a rushing touchdown in two of his last three games, but the rookie sixth-round pick hasn't exceeded 46 rushing yards in any game.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon II: Week 14 Waiver Priority List

Gordon should be considered the No. 2 running back in Miami behind De'Von Achane, and Gordon is worth stashing in all leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAB. If Achane were to miss any time then Gordon would be at least a flex option in all formats. Now, if Achane were out, we would see Jaylen Wright also have a role in Miami. But Gordon would get the majority of carries, especially near the goal line, and have the most upside in this scenario.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Works alongside Wright

Gordon rushed three times for 10 yards during Sunday's 21-17 win over the Saints. Gordon logged the same number of carries as fellow reserve running back Jaylen Wright, who managed 16 yards on the ground. Both remain in clear reserve roles behind starter De'Von Achane, who had 22 carries for a whopping 134 yards and one score, but Gordon may be facing actual competition for Wright as the clear No. 2 back in Miami heading into a Week 14 divisional matchup against the Jets.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Gets into end zone in OT win

Gordon rushed nine times for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' 16-13 overtime win over the Commanders in Madrid on Sunday. The rookie served as a highly effective complementary option to De'Von Achane, who led the way with 120 rushing yards on the day. Gordon made solid contributions on a smaller scale, recording a 20-yard run on his way to the second-highest rushing yardage total of his nascent career. Gordon also punched in his second career rush TD on a one-yard run early in the fourth quarter, rounding out his fantasy day nicely. Gordon's game-to-game production remains volatile, but he'll draw another favorable matchup in a Week 13 home date with the Saints on Sunday, Nov. 30 following a Week 12 bye.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Cleared after full practice Friday

Gordon (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Gordon was limited to one touch in Miami's Week 10 win over the Bills while playing through this ankle injury, so it remains to be seen how change-of-pace duties behind lead back De'Von Achane will be distributed between Gordon and Jaylen Wright, though it's encouraging that Gordon practiced without limitations Friday and avoided an injury designation. The Dolphins will face a slumping Commanders team Sunday morning in Madrid.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Limited with ankle injury

Gordon (ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Gordon managed to play through his ankle injury during Miami's win over the Bills in Week 10, though he was relegated to the No. 3 backfield role behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright. If Gordon is able to upgrade to full practice reps prior to Sunday's matchup against the Commanders in Madrid, he could again overtake Wright for the top backup gig.

  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Limited in practice again

Gordon (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Gordon has now logged back-to-back limited practice sessions after having been forced out of last Thursday's loss to the Ravens early with an ankle injury. If he's able to upgrade to a full practice session Friday, Gordon could avoid an injury designation entirely for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Bills. Jaylen Wright, who was inactive versus Baltimore, will stand to handle a reserve role behind De'Von Achane if Gordon is inactive or at less than full health Week 10.
... See More ... See Less
  • Dolphins' Ollie Gordon: Limited in practice Wednesday

Gordon (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Gordon is already handling limited reps after having been forced out of Miami's loss to Baltimore on Thursday due to an ankle injury. The rookie running back is reportedly considered day-to-day, so it wouldn't be out of the question for him to gain clearance in time for Sunday's game against the Bills. Per Furones, he said Wednesday that his ankle is "OK." If Gordon isn't able to play Week 10, however, Jaylen Wright will project to handle No. 2 backfield duties behind De'Von Achane.
