  • Kenny Fletcher: Signed to Colts' practice squad

Fletcher was signed to the Colts' practice squad Tuesday.

Fletcher was cut by the Buccaneers on Aug. 29 after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in May. The tight end will now have an opportunity to operate as an extreme depth option behind Tyler Warren with Indianapolis.

  • Bryce Oliver WR | HOU

Bryce Oliver: Let go by Cleveland

Oliver was cut from the Browns' practice squad Tuesday.

Oliver joined Cleveland's practice squad Wednesday, but he will now hit the open market again. Fellow wide receiver Bub Means was added to the practice squad in a corresponding move Tuesday.

  • Bub Means WR | CLE

Bub Means: Signed to Browns' practice squad

Means was signed to Browns' practice squad Tuesday.

Means was cut loose by the Saints on August 29 after spending the first two-plus seasons of his career with the team. The wide receiver was selected in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by New Orleans and he spent the entirety of the 2025 campaign on injured reserve after suffering a lower-leg injury during the preseason. Means will look to prove himself with Cleveland and earn an elevation to the active roster at some point this fall.

  • Kyler Gordon CB | CHI

Bears' Kyler Gordon: Attempting to accelerate recovery

Gordon (calf) is away from the Bears and working with his own trainer to accelerate his recovery, Ian Rapoport of ESPN and NFL Network reports.

Gordon is on injured reserve to open the 2026 campaign, and he'll be required to miss at least four contests as a result. The defensive back is still working his way back from a calf injury that he suffered in May, and the earliest he'll be able to return to action is in Week 5 against the Packers on Oct. 11.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Avoids injury report

Nacua (core) was not listed on the injury report the Rams released Tuesday, according to Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com.

Nacua has been slowed since picking up a core muscle injury nearly a month ago, but he will avoid the injury report altogether in advance of Week 1. With Nacua seemingly at full speed, expect him to fill his usual role when the Rams kick off their season against the 49ers in Australia.

  • Skyy Moore WR | GB

Packers' Skyy Moore: Set to return punts and kicks

Moore will operate as the Packers' primary retuner on both kicks and punts to open the regular season, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Moore inked a one-year deal with Green Bay in March, and he'll step in as the team's go-to option on both kicks and punts. The wide receiver notched 907 kickoff-return yards and 291 yards as a punt returner over 17 regular-season contests with San Francisco last year. Moore has combined to catch five of 10 targets for 87 yards over the last two campaigns, so he doesn't carry much fantasy value in 2026.

  • Chiefs' Chamarri Conner: Unlikely to play in Week 1

Conner (knee) is not expected to be available for Monday night's contest against the Broncos, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.

Conner picked up a knee injury at some point during the preseason, and head coach Andy Reid said Tuesday that the safety is "a stretch" to play in Week 1. If Conner is unable to go, Jaden Hicks would be a top candidate to start at strong safety versus Denver.

  • 49ers' De'Zhaun Stribling: Shakes off shoulder issue

Stribling (shoulder) was not listed on the injury report the 49ers released Tuesday, according to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Stribling was slowed by a shoulder injury for a couple weeks, but it apparently is no longer an issue, as he did not draw a mention on the first injury report the 49ers put out in advance of Week 1. Stribling is listed as a reserve receiver behind veterans Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel on San Francisco's unofficial depth chart, so while it appears he will debut against the Rams in Australia it's unclear exactly what role he will have.

  • Mike Evans WR | SF

49ers' Mike Evans: Removed from injured list

Evans (adductor) was not listed on the injury report the 49ers released Tuesday, according to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.

Evans has been slowed by injuries since early August, but he apparently is back at 100 percent in advance of Week 1. Barring any setbacks, he'll fill a starting wide receiver spot when the 49ers kick off their 2026 campaign against the Rams in Australia.

  • 49ers' George Kittle: Listed as limited participant

Kittle (Achilles) was listed as a limited participant on Tuesday's injury report, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Kittle has been practicing regularly since being activated from the active/PUP list a little over two weeks ago, and although he seemingly did not take part in every drill Tuesday, he was able to get at least some work in. The fact that he traveled with the 49ers to Australia remains the strongest evidence he'll be able to suit up for Week 1.
