  • Kane scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins. The veteran winger gave Detroit a 2-0 lead early in the second period with a slick one-timer, then helped set up Simon Edvinsson for the OT winner. Kane had just one helper over the prior five games, but on the season he's collected a respectable three goals and 10 points in 15 contests. Half of that production -- two goals and three assists -- has come with the man advantage.

  • Kane posted a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Sabres. Kane has three assists over his last four games, but he hasn't netted a goal in that span. The 35-year-old winger is looking pretty good early on with eight points (four on the power play), 18 shots on net, four PIM and a minus-4 rating through 11 appearances. Kane and Lucas Raymond have often bounced between the first and second lines, but both play on the top power-play unit and should continue to see steady ice time.

  • Kane collected two assists in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Oilers. Kane had a three-game point streak snapped versus Buffalo on Saturday, but it didn't take long for the 35-year-old to reacquaint himself with the scoresheet. The three-time Stanley Cup champion has been productive early on in the season, compiling seven points through nine games. Kane remains a critical aspect of Detroit's offense as he fills a top-six role and spot on the No. 1 power-play unit.

  • Kane registered a goal and an assist on the power play in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Devils. Kane's power-play marker to put the Red Wings up 4-3 in the final frame stood as the game-winner. It was the left-shot winger's first multi-point effort of the season, and he's found the scoresheet in three consecutive games. The 35-year-old has generated five points (two goals) over seven outings to start the 2024-25 campaign. Kane will attempt to extend his point streak to four against Buffalo on Saturday.

  • Kane scored his first goal of the season in Tuesday's 1-0 win over the Islanders. Kane scored on Detroit's first shot of the game. He has a point in each of his last two games (one goal, one assist). Kaner is 35, and there were whispers last season that he was slowly down. Keep an eye on his performance, and be ready to nab him.
