Bobrovsky stopped 27 shots in a 5-0 shutout win over the Jets on Saturday. Bobrovsky bounced back admirably from the ugly loss he suffered against the Devils on Thursday, when he stopped just 23 of 28 shots in a 6-2 defeat, and recorded his first shutout of the season in this outing against arguably the hottest team in the NHL. Even including that woeful loss against New Jersey, Bobrovsky has been very good in recent weeks. He owns a 4-1-0 record with a 2.78 GAA and a .904 save percentage in five outings this month.

Bobrovsky was the first goaltender off the ice at the morning skate, per Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post, and is slated to get the home start versus Winnipeg on Saturday. Bobrovsky struggled in his last outing, allowing five goals on 28 shots in Thursday's loss to New Jersey. He is 8-3-1, but his 3.14 GAA and .889 save percentage are not impressive peripherals. It doesn't get any easier Saturday as the Jets lead the NHL with 74 goals through 17 games.

Bobrovsky made 23 saves in a 6-2 loss to the Devils on Thursday. He allowed five goals. The Devils outworked the Panthers most of the night and capitalized on special teams opportunities. They put in three power-play goals and added a shortie, too. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Bobrovsky, who is now 8-3-1 with a 3.14 GAA and .889 save percentage. His numbers this season don't leap off the page, but it's hard to quibble with his effectiveness.

Bobrovsky is slated to patrol the home crease versus New Jersey on Thursday, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports. Bobrovsky was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, a usual indicator that he will get the start. He was first off Tuesday and did not get the start, but it seems likely that he'll be in the net Thursday. Bobrovsky has won five straight games, boosting his record to 8-2-1 with a 2.95 GAA and an .895 save percentage. The Devils are averaging 3.47 goals, good for ninth overall in the NHL.

Bobrovsky won't be in the net against New Jersey on Tuesday with Spencer Knight getting the home start instead, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports. Bobrovsky was the first goalie to leave the ice, which normally signals the starter, but head coach Paul Maurice announced it would be Knight instead. The 36-year-old Bobrovsky is riding a five-game winning streak, so the decision to go with Knight was a bit of a surprise, though it will likely allow Bobrovsky to take both games against the nearly unbeatable Jets on Nov. 16 and 19.
