Johnson signed a professional tryout agreement with Boston on Saturday. Johnson generated 17 goals, 14 assists and 112 shots on net across 67 regular-season contests with Chicago in 2023-24. If he earns a standard contract with the Bruins, he could occupy a bottom-six spot in the lineup during the 2024-25 campaign.

Johnson scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Kings. Johnson kicked off a third-period rally with his 17th goal of the campaign. The 33-year-old forward ended the campaign with 31 points, 112 shots on net, 26 PIM and a minus-35 rating over 67 appearances. Johnson is set for unrestricted free agency this summer, and he should have a decent number of suitors now that he won't command a $5 million cap hit.

Johnson has multiple points in two of the last four games, and he's managed four goals and six helpers over his last nine outings. The 33-year-old forward is up to 28 points, 98 shots on net and a minus-29 rating through 56 appearances. He's on track to reach the 60-game mark for the first time since 2019-20.

After a line brawl in the third period, the Blackhawks ended up on a power play and Johnson converted. It was his third goal in as many games, and he has six points over his last four outings. The veteran forward is up to 15 tallies, 24 points, 87 shots on net and a minus-26 rating through 51 appearances. Johnson's in a middle-six role at even strength, but his presence on the top power-play unit gives him a boost for fantasy purposes.

Johnson scored a power-play goal on his lone shot in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Flames. Johnson put Chicago ahead 4-3 late in the second period, one-timing a feed from Connor Bedard on the power play. The 33-year-old Johnson now has goals in back-to-back games and five points (two goals, three assists) in his last three contests, four coming on the man advantage. He's up to 14 goals and 23 points through 50 games this season. While Johnson won't likely sustain his current scoring pace, he could have some deep-league value while working on the Blackhawks' top power-play unit.
