Dumba signed a two-year, $7.5 million contract with the Stars on Monday, Bob McKenzie of TSN on Monday. Dumba had four goals, 12 points, 88 PIM, 202 hits and 108 blocked shots in 76 regular-season contests between Arizona and Tampa Bay in 2023-24. There's an opportunity for him to serve in a top-four capacity with the Stars, though he's unlikely to see much, if any, time with the man advantage.

Dumba registered three shots and one hit Saturday in a 4-2 loss to the Capitals. Dumba has just one assist in 16 games with Tampa Bay since being acquired from Arizona, but he has managed to deliver in other categories. He has 46 hits, 21 blocks and 23 shots while averaging 18:51 of ice time per contest. Dumba's early-career offense in Minnesota has yet to be repeated, which limits his fantasy value.

Dumba posted two hits, a blocked shot and a plus-1 rating in 20:04 of ice time during his Lightning debut Saturday in a 7-0 win over the Flyers. "I had to get the body going, but coming to a team like this is so exciting," Dumba said after the game. "Those guys are fun to watch. It's nice to be on this side." He isn't much of a fantasy guy at this point in his career, but he will make a big impact on the ice for his new team. Dumba has 10 points, 85 blocks, 152 hits and 60 PIM over 59 games between Arizona and Tampa Bay this campaign.

Dumba, along with a 2025 seventh-round pick, was traded to Tampa Bay from Arizona in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2027 on Friday, according to Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic. Dumba will likely see bottom-pairing usage with the Lightning, adding some grit to the team's blue line. Dumba had four goals, six assists, 150 hits and 84 blocked shots in 58 games for the Coyotes before the trade.

Dumba will be kept out of the lineup for Thursday's game against Minnesota because of trade-related reasons, per Craig Morgan of PHNX Sports. Dumba might be dealt before Friday's trade deadline. He has four goals, 10 points, 55 PIM, 150 hits and 84 blocks in 58 appearances this season. If he remains with Arizona, Dumba is likely to resume serving in a top-four capacity after the deadline.
