Horvat picked up two assists Saturday during a 3-2 double-overtime win over the Hurricanes in Game 4. The 29-year-old helped set up both of Mathew Barzal's tallies on the afternoon, including the winner in the second OT period. Horvat has a goal and three points through four playoff games, but he could be due to light the lamp again -- he took five shots on net Saturday and has 15 in the series so far, tied with Kyle Palmieri for the team lead.

Horvat scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-3 defeat to Carolina in Game 2. Horvat was able to end a five-game goal drought dating back to April 9 versus the Rangers. The Ontario native is averaging 3.75 shots on goal over his last four contests. If he keeps that rate up, he should start finding the back of the net with more consistency.

Horvat registered the primary assist on the opening score and then put the second goal of the game - his 33rd of the year - into the back of the net 11:47 into the first period. In his past five games, Horvat has four goals and an assist in addition to 18 shots on net. Horvat has overcome a rough start and is flourishing on the Islanders' top line. His recent performance and strong finish to the season make him a valuable fantasy option. Moving forward, his long-term contract and improved production solidify him as a reliable center with upside in the future.

Horvat scored a goal on a team-high five shots in Tuesday's 2-1 victory over Chicago. Horvat broke through against Petr Mrazek early in the third period, one-timing a Mathew Barzal feed on the power play to tie the game 1-1. The 28-year-old Horvat now has goals in back-to-back games after going six contests without a tally. He's up to 31 goals and 65 points through 74 games this season.

Horvat scored two goals, one shorthanded, in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Rangers. The 28-year-old opened the scoring in the first period by beating Igor Shesterkin from a sharp angle, then muscled home a rebound in the second. Unfortunately for the Islanders and their playoff chances, that was all the offense they could muster. Horvat has been on a tear of late, scoring seven goals and 12 points over the last 10 games. He sits one tally short of his third straight 30-goal campaign.
