Theodore (upper body) will not travel with the team on its two-game road trip this weekend and is considered week-to-week at this time, Hanah Kirkell of Vegas Hockey Now reports Friday. Theodore missed Wednesday's game against New Jersey and is likely out until the New Year. He got off to a slow start with five assists in his first 14 games, but he's upped his offensive production since then, tallying four goals and 11 assists in his last 17 games. Jeremy Lauzon returned to action Wednesday after missing 14 games, taking Theodore's place in the lineup.

Theodore is questionable for Wednesday's clash with the Devils due to an upper-body injury, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Theodore has registered points in five of his last six contests, generating a combined one goal and five assists, including 10 blocks and 18 shots. Despite going without a power-play point in his last 12 outings, the 30-year-old blueliner continues to see minutes with the No. 2 unit.

Theodore scored a goal on four shots and blocked three shots in Friday's 3-0 win over the Devils. The defenseman has been consistent for nearly a month now, going no longer than two games without a point since Nov. 10. Theodore had a hand in goals by Ivan Barbashev and Braeden Bowman in this contest. In the shootout, Theodore delivered the winning tally to make this collectively one of his best efforts of the season. The 30-year-old defenseman has been steady lately after a quiet start to the year. He's up to three goals, 13 helpers, 61 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 26 appearances. Theodore will be on the second power-play unit since Vegas has five forwards in the first group, but he can still make a sizable impact at even strength.
