Arvidsson scored a goal on five shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Predators. Arvidsson opened the season with no goals over 10 games, but it didn't take him long to strike in his 11th appearance. He scored just 37 seconds into the first period, earning his fourth point of the campaign. The 31-year-old winger spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Predators. He's collected 25 shots on net, five hits, four PIM and an even plus-minus rating in 2024-25. Look for Arvidsson to feature alongside Leon Draisaitl on the top line while Connor McDavid (ankle) is out.

Arvidsson notched three assists, including one on the power play, in Friday's 4-0 win over the Penguins. Despite consistent top-six minutes, Arvidsson's Oilers tenure got off to a silent start -- he had no points over his first seven games with the team. The 31-year-old got on the scoresheet Friday, helping out on tallies by Leon Draisaitl, Evan Bouchard and Mattias Ekholm. Arvidsson has added 15 shots on net, four hits, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over eight appearances. He's topped the 50-point mark in three of his 10 NHL campaigns, and a top-six role in Edmonton is a good spot to pick up offense, but Arvidsson is still working on chemistry with his new teammates.

Arvidsson signed a two-year, $8 million contract with the Oilers on Monday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. That's a potentially fantastic deal for Edmonton. Arvidsson was limited to 18 regular-season contests in 2023-24 due to injury, but he recorded a respectable six goals and 15 points with the Kings when healthy. The 31-year-old has surpassed the 60-point mark twice in his career and finished the 2022-23 campaign with 26 goals and 59 points across 77 outings. Provided Arvidsson can stay relatively healthy, he should be a great addition to Edmonton's top six and benefit from typically playing with one of Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl. That said, Arvidsson is unlikely to crack the top power-play unit.

Arvidsson logged an assist, three hits and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Oilers in Game 2. Arvidsson set up Drew Doughty's breakaway tally in the first period. With two helpers over two playoff contests, Arvidsson is settling in nicely on the second line. The winger has added four shots on net. He closed the regular season with 10 points over his last nine outings, so it shouldn't be surprising to see the 31-year-old finding success on offense in the postseason.

Arvidsson notched an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-3 rating in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 1. Arvidsson helped out on a Mikey Anderson goal in the second period. With seven points over his last five contests, Arvidsson is carrying some momentum on offense into the postseason. He was limited to 18 regular-season games but still produced 15 points and 59 shots on net over that span, making him a solid depth option for fantasy playoff competitions.
