De La Rose will not receive a qualifying offer from St. Louis on Monday, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports. De La Rose has already signed with Farjestad BK (Sweden), so the team's decision not to keep his NHL rights doesn't come as a complete shock. If he can put together a solid campaign overseas, the 26-year-old center could still make his way back to the NHL but he probably shouldn't be retained in dynasty formats.

De La Rose inked a three-year contract with Swedish outfit Farjestad BK on Tuesday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. De La Rose spent much of the 2020-21 campaign watching from the press box, as he saw action in just 13 games for St. Louis, recording one assist, 13 shots and 22 hits while averaging 10:12 of ice time. Assuming the Blues hand him a qualifying offer, the club will continue to hold onto De La Rose's NHL rights should he ever return.

De La Rose was added to the active roster Friday, CapFriendly reports. De La Rose hasn't suited up for a game since March 28 and has just one point in 13 games this season. He likely won't see any playing time during the postseason.

De La Rose was waived by the Blues on Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. The Blues are getting healthy, so they need to create roster space and salary-cap space. The 25-year-old center has produced an assist, 13 shots on net and 22 hits through 13 games this season. If he clears, he'll land on the taxi squad.
