Hellebuyck stopped 17 of 18 shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. Hellebuyck wasn't particularly busy in this contest -- the 18 shots against were a season low. The 31-year-old's shutout bid was spoiled by Michael Bunting on a Penguins power play in the third period. Hellebuyck has won two straight starts and eight of his last nine outings. He's 14-2-0 with a 2.13 GAA and a .914 save percentage through 16 starts overall. The Jets play again Saturday in Nashville, and while it'll likely be an Eric Comrie start, there's at least a small chance Hellebuyck could go again after a light workload. This is the Jets' first back-to-back set of the season.

Hellebuyck will patrol the road crease in Pittsburgh on Friday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports. Hellebuyck is off to a great start, going 13-2-0 with a sparkling 2.20 GAA and a very impressive .923 save percentage. Hellebuyck is the early favorite for the Vezina Trophy as he tries to become the first netminder since Martin Brodeur in 2006-07 and 2007-08, to go back-to-back. He will face the Penguins, who are tallying 2.67 goals per game.

Hellebuyck made 20 saves in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Panthers. The reigning Vezina Trophy winner took the loss in Florida on Saturday in the first game of a home-and-home set, coughing up a season-high five goals, but Hellebuyck turned the tables back in Winnipeg. The 31-year-old goalie has been one of the main reasons the Jets have the best record in the NHL, going 13-2-0 through 15 starts with a 2.20 GAA and .923 save percentage.

Hellebuyck will make his 15th start of the season Tuesday -- he's posted a 12-2-0 record, .926 save percentage and 2.14 GAA. The two-time Vezina winner will have a chance to rebound in a rematch with the Panthers, a team he allowed five goals to in a loss Saturday. Hellebuyck has three more wins than any other goaltender in the NHL to this point.

Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 31 shots in Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Panthers. Hellebuyck entered this game on a six-game winning run, but that streak was snapped abruptly by the defending Stanley Cup champions. The star goaltender, who's looking like an early favorite to win the Vezina Trophy, gave up goals in each period for a second straight outing. Still, one bad start won't erase his excellent performances over the last month-plus. He'll aim to bounce back Tuesday in a rematch against Florida.
