Rust scored a goal on six shots in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Oilers. Rust is riding his longest goal streak of the season at four games, and the 33-year-old has been getting more and more involved offensively of late. He has posted multiple shots on goal in five straight outings, and with Rust averaging 4.4 shots per game in that stretch, it's not surprising to see him score four times. Rust has 12 goals and 28 points in 30 games this season, and he's cementing his place as one of the Penguins' most reliable forces on offense.

Rust scored a goal in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth. Rust found the back of the net for a third straight game and is up to six points (three goals, three assists) during that productive stretch. Rust is up to 11 goals and 27 points this season, and he's on pace to reach the 25-goal plateau for a third consecutive season as long as he stays healthy.

Rust produced a goal and two assists, all on the power play, in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks. It was the second straight multi-point performance for Rust, and his first game with multiple power-play points since Nov. 6. The veteran winger is up to 10 goals and 26 points in 28 contests on the season, and he's been thriving with the man advantage -- 14 of those points (three goals, 11 helpers) have come on the power play.

Rust had a goal and an assist in a 4-2 loss to the Canadiens on Thursday. Rust chipped in a backhand pass from Sidney Crosby just 44 seconds into the third to cut the score to 3-1. Rust had gone three games without a point, but he has eight points, including four goals, in his last eight games. Rust has nine goals, 14 assists and 67 shots in 27 games this season.

Rust scored a power-play goal and added two assists, one with the man advantage, in Monday's 5-1 win over the Flyers. The veteran winger played a part in each of the Penguins' first three goals. It was Rust's third three-point performance of the season, and through 23 games, he's delivered eight goals and 21 points, including two goals and 10 points on the power play.
