Bourque scored an empty-net goal on four shots in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Maple Leafs. Bourque ended a 10-game goal drought with the empty-netter. He had just two assists in that span. Bourque saw 15:48 of ice time Sunday, his most in a game since Nov. 26, and he was alongside Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson in a top-six role. Bourque has yet to receive ample minutes in a prominent spot in his career, so taking advantage of this opportunity, for however long it lasts, could help his offense take off. He's at five goals, 12 points, 61 shots on net, 18 hits and a minus-5 rating over 37 appearances.

Bourque scored a goal on two shots, added three hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Senators. Bourque has chipped in two goals and an assist over his last six games. The 23-year-old forward continues to be a bit sheltered in a bottom-six role, but that's a product of the Stars having a lot of other players rolling all at once. Bourque has logged four goals, nine points, 42 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-4 rating through 26 appearances this season.

Bourque scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Canucks. Bourque has picked up the pace with four points and nine shots on net over his last seven games. The 23-year-old is finding chemistry in a third-line role with Justin Hryckowian and Oskar Back. Bourque is up to three goals, seven points, 32 shots on net, 10 hits, 10 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 21 appearances. It doesn't look like he'll carve out a breakout campaign, but he could pick up the pace enough on offense to be worth a look in deeper fantasy formats.

Bourque produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Predators. The 23-year-old opened the scoring early in the first period by redirecting a slick feed from Miro Heiskanen, before setting up Justin Hryckowian for a tally early in the third. It was Bourque's first multi-point performance of the season, and the 2020 first-round pick has two goals and five points through 15 games to begin the season while mainly skating in a bottom-six role.

Bourque signed a one-year, $950,000 contract with Dallas on Friday, according to Chris Johnston of The Athletic. Bourque managed to play in 73 regular-season games during his rookie campaign in 2024-25, scoring 11 goals and adding 14 assists. He was selected in the opening round, 30th overall, in 2020 and is likely to be a middle-six forward for the Stars next season. Bourque was a healthy scratch on 15 occasions during the playoffs and was held off the scoresheet in the three games he managed to see action in.
