  • Sanderson scored a goal, tallied an assist and blocked a shot in Monday's 3-2 overtime win over Winnipeg. Sanderson netted the game-tying goal with less than two minutes remaining in regulation before he picked up a helper on Brady Tkachuk's winning tally in overtime. The pair of points brings Sanderson up to seven goals, 19 assists, 72 shots on net and 59 blocks through 32 games this season. Since Nov. 11, the 23-year-old blueliner has 15 points, 35 shots on net and 32 blocks across 16 games. A very short list of defensemen have better all-around stats than Sanderson during that stretch, which only strengthens his case to represent Team USA in the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano Cortina. He is on track to contend for career highs in many major stat categories, giving him elite value in nearly all fantasy formats for the rest of the campaign.

  • Sanderson notched two power-play assists in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers. The 23-year-old blueliner helped set up tallies by Dylan Cozens in the first period and Drake Batherson in the third, but the Senators' offense couldn't get anything going at even strength. Sanderson extended his point streak to five games with the performance, a hot stretch in which he's produced three goals and eight points with 11 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating.

  • Sanderson scored a goal on four shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Canadiens. Sanderson's tally at 5:48 of the second period stood as the game-winner in this Atlantic Division battle. With three goals and three assists over his last four games, Sanderson's on a bit of a hot streak. The defenseman is up to six goals, 21 points, 56 shots on net, 47 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 26 appearances. He's on pace to best his career-high 11 goals from 2024-25 as he continues to prove himself as one of the better young blueliners in the league.

  • Sanderson scored a power-play goal on three shots and added two assists in Wednesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Golden Knights. Sanderson ended his 10-game goal drought with a first-period tally. The 23-year-old blueliner had four assists over that span. Sanderson continues to offer plenty of offense and blocks in a huge role on the Senators' top pairing. He's at four goals, 18 points (eight on the power play), 50 shots on net, 39 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 23 appearances. A 60-point campaign isn't out of the question if he can remain steady on offense.
