Boeser (illness) has resumed training and will be available for the start of training camp, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports Monday. Boeser missed Game 7 against the Oilers on May 20 due to a blood clotting issue but appears to have fully recovered. During the regular season, the 27-year-old saw action in 81 games in which he set new career highs in goals (40), points (73) and power-play points (25). Boeser should hold on to his first-line role ahead of the recently signed Jake DeBrusk -- though falling to the second line and playing with Elias Pettersson wouldn't exactly be a demotion.

Boeser will miss the remainder of the 2024 playoffs after a blood-clotting issue was found in his leg following Vancouver's Game 6 loss to Edmonton on Saturday, per Sportsnet. Boeser will conclude the postseason with seven goals and 12 points in 12 appearances. He also set career highs during the 2023-24 regular season, producing 40 goals and 73 points over 81 outings. If Ilya Mikheyev (undisclosed) can't play in Monday's Game 7 matchup versus the Oilers, Sam Lafferty or Linus Karlsson could draw into the lineup to replace Boeser.

Boeser is dealing with a blood clotting issue and will not play in Monday's Game 7 against Edmonton, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. Boeser's status moving forward is unclear, which would be a huge factor in the Western Conference Finals against Dallas if Vancouver wins Game 7. Fortunately, his condition is not considered to be life-threatening. He's scored seven goals and 12 points through 12 games this postseason, including a hat trick in Game 4 of the first round against Nashville. If Ilya Mikheyev (undisclosed) misses Game 7 as well, Sam Lafferty seems to be the most likely candidate to step in for Boeser.

Boeser notched an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Oilers in Game 4. Boeser has three goals and four assists during a five-game point streak. He was initially credited with the Canucks' second goal Tuesday, but it was later changed to an assist on Dakota Joshua's tally. Boeser is up to 12 points, 25 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 10 playoff appearances. Boeser and J.T. Miller continue to form a strong partnership on the Canucks' top line.

Boeser scored twice on four shots, dished an assist, logged four hits, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Oilers in Game 3. Boeser set up Elias Lindholm's power-play tally in the first period, then scored the next two goals to put the Canucks in control by the intermission. The 27-year-old Boeser has five points through three games in the second round, and he's up to seven goals, four assists, 22 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through nine playoff outings. The Canucks' offense hasn't really fired on all cylinders yet, but Boeser has been reliable in the playoffs.
