Bratt recorded two goals, one on the power play and one on even strength, and a power-play assist in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes. Bratt has been on a tear of late, and his numbers rank him as one of the most productive players in the league over the last few weeks. He's notched five multi-point games since the beginning of November, racking up eight goals and six assists across nine games in that stretch. Five of those points -- three goals and two helpers -- have come in the power play.

Bratt scored a hat trick Thursday in a 6-2 win over the Panthers. It was the second of his NHL career. Bratt delivered a Mario Lemieux hat trick - one each at even strength, on the power play and shorthanded. It's the NHL equivalent of hitting for the cycle. He's the third player in Devils history to deliver a Mario Lemieux hattie. The others were John McLean (Feb. 25, 1991) and Peter Stastny (Dec. 29, 1991). Bratt has five points in his last two games and 11 points (six goals, five assists) in his past six.

Bratt recorded two assists in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Panthers. He had a hand in the first and last goals of the night, feeding Jack Hughes for a one-timer midway through the first period before intercepting a clearing attempt and setting Ondrej Palat up for an empty-netter in the third. Bratt has had an outstanding, and consistent, start to the season -- he has yet to be held off the scoresheet two games in a row, and through 19 contests he's piled up five goals and 21 points.

Bratt scored two goals and had an assist in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Canadiens. He added five shots on net, one hit and two PIM to his line. Bratt opened and closed the scoring for New Jersey, which won for the fourth time in the last five contests. He finished a pretty setup from Jack Hughes for a 1-0 lead then deposited an empty-netter for the final score. In between he returned the favor to Hughes, feathering a perfect pass to set the club's fourth tally. Bratt's off to a strong start with five goals and 13 assists through 16 outings.

Bratt recorded a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Monday's 3-0 win over the Oilers. Bratt has been on a tear in recent weeks and has been held off the scoresheet just once over his last eight appearances, tallying two goals and seven helpers in that span. The playmaking department is an area in which the 26-year-old has been outstanding this season, and his 12 assists not only lead New Jersey but also is in a three-way tie for the eighth-best mark league-wide.
