Zegras scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Kraken. A delayed penalty call against the Kraken led to Zegras' tally. The Ducks kept possession for a while and initiated a line change to get their top personnel on the ice. Once they got the zone entry they wanted, Zegras quickly buried a pass from Troy Terry to tie the game at 1-1. The 23-year-old Zegras has two goals and three assists over his last five contests. He's up to three tallies, eight points, 40 shots on net, eight PIM, 13 hits and 15 blocked shots over 20 appearances. His injury-ravaged 2023-24 and slow start to 2024-25 have burned many fantasy managers, but if Zegras can sustain his recent level of production, he needs to be rostered in most formats.

Zegras registered an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sabres. Zegras set up a Drew Helleson tally in the first period. With a goal and three helpers over his last four contests, Zegras appears to be breaking out of the slump that has plagued him for much of the first quarter of the campaign. The 23-year-old forward has seven points, 36 shots on net, 15 blocked shots, 12 hits and a minus-4 rating over 19 games this season.

Zegras scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Friday's 6-4 win over the Red Wings. Zegras snapped a five-game point drought with his second-period tally. The 23-year-old is off to an abysmal start this season with just four points through 16 contests despite routinely seeing top-six minutes. This was his first power-play point of the campaign, and he's added 29 shots on net, 13 blocked shots, 10 hits and a minus-6 rating. Not much has gone right for the Ducks on offense, but Zegras struggling out of the gate for the second year in a row is a significant concern.

Zegras notched an assist, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Penguins. Zegras had gone six games without a point before he set up an Alex Killorn tally in the first period. The slump has cost Zegras his top-six role -- he's been under 15 minutes of ice time in each of the last two games while playing alongside Killorn and Cutter Gauthier on the third line. Zegras is off to another slow start in 2024-25 with three points, 21 shots on net, seven blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 10 appearances. While he still has talent, he is in real danger of getting lapped by younger prospects in the Ducks' system, which does nothing to squash trade rumors that have circled him in recent months.

Zegras registered an assist and five shots on goal in Wednesday's 5-4 overtime win over Utah. Zegras set up linemate Robby Fabbri's second-period tally, which tied the game at 2-2. Through three games, Zegras has a goal, an assist, nine shots on net and a plus-1 rating. His helper Wednesday was the 100th of his career, a milestone he reached in 214 regular-season appearances. Zegras looks poised to be a top-six fixture this year as he attempts to bounce back from a disappointing 2023-24 campaign.
