  • Andrew Copp C | DET

Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Collects helper in shootout win

Copp notched a power-play assist in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kraken.

Copp set up Jonatan Berggren's tally as the second unit cashed in the Red Wings' second power-play goal of the contest. February has started well for Copp, who has a goal and two assists over his last three outings. His helper Tuesday was his first power-play contribution all season. The 30-year-old center is at 22 points, 66 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 54 appearances.

  • Marco Kasper C | DET

Red Wings' Marco Kasper: Manages helper in shootout win

Kasper notched an assist and five hits in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kraken.

Kasper had gone two games without a point to open February, but it didn't cost him a top-line gig. He got back on the scoresheet with the secondary helper on Lucas Raymond's opening tally. Kasper has 13 points over his last 14 outings and is up to nine goals, 11 assists, 78 shots on net, 86 hits and a minus-5 rating through 49 appearances this season. He's looked good with Raymond and Dylan Larkin, and Kasper adds a physical component to the line, which helps his fantasy value have a high floor.

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Adds assist Tuesday

Larkin provided an assist, five shots on goal and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kraken.

Larkin remains consistent in a top-line role -- he hasn't gone more than one game without a point since head coach Todd McLellan took over for Derek Lalonde coming out of the holiday break. The 28-year-old Larkin has two goals and three assists over his last five outings. The center is up to the 50-point mark (23 goals, 27 helpers), 173 shots on net and a plus-1 rating through 54 appearances. He's on pace to top the 70-point mark for the third time in his career.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Thriving this season

Tavares notched a power-play goal in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Flames.

He scored 41 seconds after having a goal disallowed on video review. Tavares has put up a point in each of the two games he's played since his return from injury, bringing the renaissance man to 44 points, including 21 goals, in 46 games this season. Tavares is thriving in the last year of his contract. It could set him up for a solid payday, unless he chooses to re-ink with the Leafs at a discount in order to keep the core four intact.

  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Top Leafs scorer through 600 games

Matthews put up a trio of assists Tuesday in a 6-3 win over the Flames.

They came in his 600th NHL game. Matthews has the most points by a Toronto player through their first 600 games with 692 points (388 goals, 304 assists). He has five assists in his last two games, and he's pushed his season point total to 43, including 20 goals, in 38 games.

  • Filip Chytil C | VAN

Canucks' Filip Chytil: Supplies helper in win

Chytil logged an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Avalanche.

Chytil again had the most ice time among Vancouver's centers in his second game with the team. The 25-year-old has added two points and six shots on net since he was traded from the Rangers, and it appears the change of scenery has helped him land a larger role. Chytil is now at 22 points, 95 shots on net and a plus-4 rating across 42 appearances this season. Fantasy managers should at least have an eye on Chytil to see if he can sustain his offense in the long run -- he could be a strong addition off the waiver wire for the stretch run.

  • Nicolas Roy C | COL

Golden Knights' Nicolas Roy: Puts up helper in loss

Roy notched an assist and five hits in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Islanders.

Roy has five helpers over 12 outings since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 27-year-old is seeing bottom-six minutes currently, so his chances to be consistent on offense are slim. He's at 18 points, 63 shots on net, 41 hits, 37 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 43 appearances. Roy can move up the lineup when injuries occur, but his fantasy upside is limited until that happens.

  • Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Tallies in Tuesday's loss

Barkov scored a goal on three shots, went minus-2, added two hits and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals.

It was a rare mixed performance for Barkov, as he got the goal but didn't win his battles on the ice. The 29-year-old has been rolling with two goals and eight helpers over his last eight contests, and he's taken multiple shots in seven straight games. For the season, the star center is at 13 goals, 48 points, 103 shots, 52 hits, 44 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 45 appearances.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Ten points in last 10 games

Horvat scored a goal Tuesday in a 2-1 win over Vegas.

Late in the first period, Horvat went in on a breakaway and scored with a backhand through Ilya Samsonov's five-hole to put the Isles up 1-0. Horvat has six goals and four assists in his last 10 games and 40 points (19 goals, 21 assists) in 52 games this season. The Isles have the worst power play in the NHL this season after finishing 15th the year before. Horvat has just five power-play points (three goals) in 52 games after putting up 18 (10 goals) in 81 last season. He's on pace for more than 60 points, but he's doing it the hard way at 5-on-5.

  • Brock Nelson C | COL

Islanders' Brock Nelson: Nets fourth winner of season

Nelson scored the game-winning goal Tuesday in a 2-1 victory over Vegas.

It was his fourth game winner of the season. Nelson redirected an Alexander Romanov point shot over Ilya Samsonov's glove from deep in the left face-off circle midway through the third period for Nelson's 15th goal and 32nd point of the season (52 games). Nelson's pace is well below his brilliance of the last three seasons (107 goals, 96 assists in 236 games). With his pedigree and an expiring contract, Nelson remains a strong trade target for many contenders, but the Islanders may opt to keep him for a playoff push after moving within three points of a playoff spot with eight wins in their last nine games.
