Owen Beck C | MON
Canadiens' Owen Beck: Sent down Sunday
Beck was loaned to AHL Laval on Sunday.
Beck will be joined by Logan Mailloux at the AHL All-Star Classic in Palm Desert, California on Monday. Montreal is currently in California for a three-game road trip, so it's a strong possibility that Beck will rejoin the team Tuesday in San Jose. Beck has yet to record a point over three career appearances with the Canadiens.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Stars' Logan Stankoven: Nets goal Sunday
Stankoven scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Stankoven ended an eight-game goal drought, during which he had one assist, when he scored in the second period. The 21-year-old was down on the fourth line following the return of Mason Marchment (face) and the Stars' trade to acquire Mikael Granlund, which has deepened the team's forward group. Stankoven should remain in the power-play mix, and it's possible he functions more as a middle-six forward, though he saw a team-low 12:04 of ice time Sunday. For the season, the rookie has seven goals, 25 points, 134 shots on net, 33 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 50 appearances.

Wyatt Johnston C | DAL
Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Plays big role in win
Johnston scored a power-play goal on eight shots, dished an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
This was the third time Johnston has had at least eight shots in a game this season. His tally tied the contest at 3-3 in the second period, and he also set up the second of Evgenii Dadonov's goals in the third to help the Stars get the win. Johnston is absolutely rolling right now with five goals and 10 assists over his last 10 outings. The 21-year-old has a total of 15 goals, 30 helpers, 12 power-play points, 139 shots and a plus-13 rating through 52 appearances.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Two helpers against Montreal
Carlsson registered two assists in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens.
The 20-year-old center hadn't registered a point in his last six games and in 11 of his last 12 outings heading into Sunday's game. Carlsson helped get the Ducks on the board in the second period when he was credited with an assist on Mason McTavish's goal, and the former logged a second helper on Alex Killorn's game-winning goal midway through the third frame. Carlsson has registered 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) on 53 shots this season.

Christian Dvorak C | PHI
Canadiens' Christian Dvorak: Scores birthday goal Sunday
Dvorak scored a power-play goal on two shots during Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Ducks.
On his 29th birthday, Dvorak scored his fifth goal of the season to give the Canadiens a two-goal lead late in the first period. Dvorak ended a three-game point drought, but his efforts weren't enough as the Canadiens dropped their fifth straight game. He has a minus-5 rating over that span.

Matthew Poitras C | BOS
Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Designated for minors
Poitras was sent to AHL Providence on Sunday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports.
The Bruins also demoted Vinni Lettieri to Providence on Sunday, so the club currently has 11 forwards on its roster. That would imply that these transactions are a cap-saving measure. Furthermore, Providence's next game isn't until Friday, so Poitras could be back with the big club in short order. The 20-year-old has contributed a goal and eight helpers through 23 appearances with Boston this season.

Vinni Lettieri C | TOR
Bruins' Vinni Lettieri: Heads to minors
Lettieri was sent to AHL Providence on Sunday, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal.
Lettieri has two goals in eight appearances with Boston this season. He has also accumulated 14 goals and 35 points in 35 outings with Providence. It's possible this is a paper move, and if that's the case, then Lettieri would presumably be recalled before Boston's clash against Minnesota on Tuesday.

Robert Thomas C | STL
Blues' Robert Thomas: Ready to rock
Thomas (illness) will play against Utah on Sunday, per Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Thomas' availability for Sunday's matchup was unclear after he left Saturday's practice early, but he will be available to play. He has accounted for 12 goals, 36 points and 91 shots on net through 40 appearances this season. Thomas is mired in a three-game point drought heading into Sunday's game.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Won't play Sunday
Barzal (undisclosed) will miss Sunday's game against Florida, per Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.
Barzal was injured during Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over Tampa Bay. More is expected to be known about Barzal's status Monday, but in the meantime, he'll miss at least one game. Anthony Duclair (illness) will draw back into the lineup and take Barzal's usual spot alongside Anders Lee and Bo Horvat.

Adam Edstrom C | NYR
Rangers' Adam Edstrom: Unavailable Sunday
Edstrom (lower body) will miss Sunday's game against Vegas, per Peter Baugh of The Athletic.
Edstrom left Saturday's 6-3 loss to Boston due to the injury. He has five goals, nine points, 94 hits and 34 blocks in 51 outings in 2024-25. Edstrom is still being evaluated, so it's not yet clear how long he might be on the shelf.
