Chandler Stephenson C | SEA
Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Racks up three points in win
Stephenson scored a goal on two shots, added two assists and went plus-4 in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Sharks.
Stephenson opened the scoring at 3:55 of the first period, and his helpers, including one on the power play, came in the middle frame. After mixed results for much of the first half of the campaign, Stephenson took a step up with six goals and nine assists across 15 January appearances. The 30-year-old center is now at nine goals, 29 helpers, 52 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 52 outings overall. He's still a pass-first player, but any forward playing at a point-per-game pace should be getting attention in fantasy.

Pavel Dorofeyev RW | LV
Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Provides helper Thursday
Dorofeyev notched an assist in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
Dorofeyev logged eight goals and five assists over the last 10 contests of January. The winger's surge comes alongside an 11-game point streak by linemate Tomas Hertl. Dorofeyev has been pretty good in his own right with 22 tallies, 12 helpers, 153 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 52 outings this season. As long as he's in the top six and on the first power-play unit, Dorofeyev should be capable of staying productive enough to help in fantasy.

Tomas Hertl C | LV
Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Keeps streak alive with goal
Hertl scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
Hertl reached the 20-goal mark for the season and extended his point streak to 11 games (nine goals, six assists) on the same play. He opened the scoring at 4:58 of the first period, but the Golden Knights were unable to solve Elvis Merzlikins a second time. Hertl is now at 41 points (17 on the power play), 128 shots on net, 67 hits, 45 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 52 contests this season.

Kent Johnson C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Logs helper in overtime win
Johnson posted an assist in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Johnson has maintained steady offense in January with four goals and seven helpers over 13 outings. He did a little defensive work to get his assist Thursday, stripping the puck away before setting off a flurry of activity that culminated in Cole Sillinger's game-winning goal 52 seconds into overtime. Johnson is up to 32 points (14 goals, 18 assists), 71 shots on net and a minus-5 rating through 37 appearances.

Adam Fantilli C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Tallies in overtime win
Fantilli scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Fantilli has eight goals and six assists over 13 contests in January. He tied this game at 1-1 with an unassisted tally late in the first period. Fantilli is up to 15 goals, 29 points, 107 shots on net, 66 hits, 38 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 51 appearances. Sean Monahan (wrist) won't be back until mid-March at the earliest, so Fantilli figures to continue to assert himself on the top line, which has worked out well so far.

Cole Sillinger C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Cole Sillinger: Nets game-winner in return
Sillinger scored the game-winning goal and blocked two shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Sillinger returned from a three-game absence due to an upper-body injury. He was a little sheltered in his return, playing just 15:54, but he was on the ice at the right time to bury a rebound 52 seconds into overtime. Sillinger had been limited to three points over 14 contests prior to his injury. The 21-year-old is at eight goals (two game-winners), 24 points, 107 shots on net, 57 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating over 46 appearances. He'll have a fairly safe role in the top six for a few weeks, as Sean Monahan (wrist) is likely to be out until mid-March.

Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI
Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: First goal in 15 games
Palmieri scored a goal Thursday in a 3-0 win over the Flyers.
It was Palmieri's first goal in 15 games. He cut around Philly defender Jamie Drysdale above the left face-off circle and wired a shot far side that beat Ivan Fedotov. Overall, Palmieri has 13 goals and 33 points in 50 games this season, and his shot total is just 91. That puts him on a 54-point pace, but the long gap between goals is concerning. Palmieri is just 33, but Father Time could be waiting in the wings.

Martin Pospisil C | CGY
Flames' Martin Pospisil: Nabs helper in win
Pospisil notched an assist, two shots on goal, four hits and two PIM in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Pospisil didn't have much momentum early in January, but he's earned three points over four games to close out the month. The 25-year-old forward could get shuffled around the lineup a bit more following the Flames' trade for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee on Thursday, but it's possible Pospisil lands in a familiar spot alongside Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri. For the season, Pospisil is at three goals, 13 helpers, 68 shots on net, 70 PIM, 170 hits and a plus-1 rating over 50 appearances. That's below the pace that saw him rack up 24 points in 63 contests as a rookie in 2023-24.

Blake Coleman C | CGY
Flames' Blake Coleman: Pair of points in win
Coleman scored a goal on five shots, added an assist, logged three hits and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Coleman was credited with the Flames' game-winner late in the second period after a postgame scoring change. He also set up a Matthew Coronato tally in the third. The 33-year-old Coleman recaptured some of his 2023-24 magic in January, earning four goals and eight assists over 13 appearances this month. He's up to 12 goals, 29 points, 122 shots on net, 99 hits and a minus-2 rating over 50 appearances this season. Coleman should continue to see middle-six minutes.

Marc Gatcomb C | NYI
Islanders' Marc Gatcomb: First career goal and point
Gatcomb scored a goal Thursday in a 3-0 win over the Flyers.
The Flyers blew a line change, and Gatcomb and Kyle MacLean skated in on a 2-on-0 that Gatcomb finished. It was his first NHL goal in his seventh game. The undrafted forward is living the dream after spending the first four years of his pro career with the Canucks' organization in the AHL and ECHL. That puck is going on Gatcomb's mantel.
