Travis Konecny RW | PHI
Flyers' Travis Konecny: Two-point effort in win
Konecny picked up two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 4-2 win over the Devils.
The 27-year-old had a hand in the first and last goals of the evening, helping to set up Bobby Brink midway through the first period before causing a New Jersey turnover that led to a Scott Laughton empty-netter late in the third. Konecny remains on pace for a breakout campaign, and he hasn't slowed down in January with four goals and 16 points in 13 contests.

Dylan Larkin C | DET
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Two helpers in Monday's win
Larkin picked up two assists in Monday's 5-2 win over the Kings.
He had a hand in Detroit's first and last goals of the night, helping to set up Lucas Raymond in the first period and Marco Kasper for an empty-netter in the third. That trio combined for three goals and nine points in Monday's victory, and Larkin has been surging in January as the pivot on one of the hottest lines in the league, racking up eight goals and 18 points in 13 contests.

Marco Kasper C | DET
Red Wings' Marco Kasper: Three points against Kings
Kasper scored two goals and added an assist in Monday's 5-2 win over Los Angeles.
The Red Wings' top line of Dylan Larkin, Lucas Raymond and Kasper combined for three goals and nine points on the night, with Kasper finding the back of the net twice in the third period. The eighth overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft has been on fire since joining the unit earlier this month, and over his last 10 games, the 20-year-old has collected seven goals and 11 points.

Blake Lizotte C | PIT
Penguins' Blake Lizotte: Still dealing with illness
Lizotte (illness) will not be available for Monday's road game against the Sharks.
Lizotte will miss his third consecutive game Monday. The left-shot forward's next chance to return to the lineup will be Wednesday in Utah, when Pittsburgh concludes its five-game road trip. Lizotte has accounted for eight markers, four helpers and a plus-5 rating across 33 appearances in 2024-25.

Dakota Joshua C | TOR
Canucks' Dakota Joshua: Not ready to return
Joshua (leg) will not be available for Monday's road matchup against the Blues, according to Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.
Joshua was a game-time decision heading into Monday's game, so while he won't suit up in St. Louis, the 28-year-old could be an option for Wednesday's contest in Nashville. Joshua hasn't played since Jan. 3 versus the Predators. Prior to his injury, the Michigan native chipped in two goals and two helpers over 24 appearances.

Gage Goncalves C | TB
Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Summoned from minors
Goncalves was recalled from AHL Syracuse on Monday.
Goncalves was waived by Tampa Bay on Jan. 13 and ultimately was not claimed by another club. The 24-year-old has notched a goal and an assist over 26 appearances with the Lightning this season. He'll most likely serve as the team's 13th forward Tuesday against Chicago.

Sean Couturier C | PHI
Flyers' Sean Couturier: Ruled out with illness
Couturier has been ruled out for Monday's game against New Jersey due to an illness.
Couturier has missed just two of the Flyers' first 50 games of the season, but he'll be sidelined for the first time since Dec. 21 on Monday. It's not yet clear what illness he's dealing with, but he should tentatively be considered day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's road matchup in New Jersey. Scott Laughton will return to the lineup Monday after missing the last three games while tending to a family matter.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Classified as week-to-week
Malkin (lower body) was labeled week-to-week Monday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Malkin missed four games earlier in January due to an upper-body injury and has struggled to produce since. In his last six outings, the world-class center has generated just one goal on nine shots and one assist while averaging 14:19 of ice time. With the Russian on the shelf, Cody Glass appears set to step up to center the second line. Given his recovery timeline, Malkin will likely be sidelined until after the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Placed on injured reserve
Malkin (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
Malkin exited Saturday's game against Seattle due to a lower-body injury, and he'll be forced to miss multiple games due to the issue. The extent of the 38-year-old's injury isn't yet clear, but Cody Glass or Kevin Hayes could see an increased role in his absence, while Jesse Puljujarvi was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday.

Jack Roslovic C | EDM
Hurricanes' Jack Roslovic: Misses practice Monday
Roslovic was unavailable at practice Monday due to an illness, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.
Roslovic scored a goal in Saturday's matchup with the Islanders, a tally that ended his 12-game point drought. The 27-year-old winger has gone on runs this year, so his goal Saturday could be an indication that he is about to heat up. If Roslovic can't play against the Rangers on Tuesday, the club will likely need to call up a forward from the minors or deploy seven defensemen.
