Mark Scheifele C | WPG
Jets' Mark Scheifele: Collects pair of points in win
Scheifele scored a power-play goal on two shots and added an assist in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Flames.
Scheifele snapped a quiet stretch in which he logged just one assist over a four-game span. This was his third multi-point effort over 12 contests in January, and he has six goals and six assists for the month. He's up to 28 tallies, 28 helpers, 119 shots on net, 41 hits, 42 blocked shots, 41 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 51 appearances this season. Scheifele remains above a point-per-game pace, a level of production he hasn't achieved over a full season since 2021-22.

Gabriel Vilardi C | WPG
Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Two of each in Sunday's win
Vilardi scored two goals on four shots, dished two assists and added two hits in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Flames.
Vilardi earned one goal and one assist on the power play, which came in the third period as the Jets built up their lead. This was the 25-year-old's first four-point effort since Dec. 13, 2023. He's racked up four goals and eight assists over 12 outings in January as he continues to thrive in a top-line role. Vilardi is now at 22 tallies, 25 assists, 22 power-play points, 96 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 51 appearances. He needs one more goal to match his career high from the 2022-23 campaign.

Adam Lowry C | WPG
Jets' Adam Lowry: Likely out through break
Head coach Scott Arniel said Sunday that he doesn't expect Lowry (upper body) to return until after the 4 Nations Face-Off, Sara Orlesky of TSN reports.
Lowry will travel with the Jets on their upcoming three-game road trip, but he'll likely require several more weeks before he's in the mix to return to game action. Over 48 appearances this year before sustaining his injury, Lowry tallied 11 goals, 15 assists, 88 hits, 41 blocked shots and 14 PIM while averaging 15:24 of ice time.

Josh Norris C | BUF
Senators' Josh Norris: Good to go
Norris (upper body) will play versus Utah on Sunday, according to Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia.
The Senators initially ruled out Norris for Sunday's matchup, but injuries to Nick Cousins (lower body), Cole Reinhardt (upper body) and Noah Gregor (lower body) may have altered those plans. Following a two-game absence, the 25-year-old Norris will center the second line and should see power-play time versus Utah. He has 17 goals, 27 points, 88 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and 120 hits across 47 appearances this season.

Tyson Jost C | NSH
Hurricanes' Tyson Jost: Surfaces on LTIR
Jost (lower body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Saturday, per PuckPedia.
Jost has missed the last 13 games, and a timeline for his return to the lineup remains unclear. He has accounted for two goals, 17 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and 20 hits in 16 appearances this season.

Dakota Joshua C | TOR
Canucks' Dakota Joshua: Practices Sunday
Joshua (leg) participated in Sunday's practice.
Joshua has missed the last 10 games but feels close to being ready to return to the lineup. However, it remains unclear when he will be back in action. The 28-year-old forward has compiled two goals, two assists, 10 shots on net, 11 blocked shots and 83 hits through 24 appearances this season. Once healthy, Joshua could replace Max Sasson or Phil Di Giuseppe in Vancouver's bottom-six group.

Frederick Gaudreau C | SEA
Wild's Frederick Gaudreau: Puts away power-play goal
Gaudreau scored a power-play goal on three shots, blocked two shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Flames.
Gaudreau had been limited to two assists over his last 11 contests since he scored Dec. 29 against the Senators. The 31-year-old center has played in a third-line role lately, which isn't a spot to help his offense take off, though he's also on the second power-play unit. For the season, Gaudreau has eight goals (two on the power play), 19 points, 66 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 49 appearances.

Joel Eriksson Ek C | MIN
Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Buries goal in loss
Eriksson Ek scored a goal, doled out three hits and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Flames.
Eriksson Ek moved up to the top line following Thursday's shutout loss to Utah. It worked for the center -- he ended a seven-game goal drought, during which he had just two assists despite taking 23 shots on net. The 27-year-old is up to eight goals, 21 points, 94 shots on net, 58 hits and a plus-8 rating over 35 appearances this season. He's poised to miss the 60-point mark for the first time in three years, and while injuries have been part of the problem, Eriksson Ek is also shooting 8.5 percent in 2024-25, his lowest mark since 2019-20.

Clark Bishop C | CGY
Flames' Clark Bishop: Scores second career goal
Bishop scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Wild.
This was Bishop's second career goal -- he last scored during the 2018-19 campaign as a rookie with the Hurricanes. Prior to Thursday, he hadn't appeared in an NHL game since 2021-22, but the Flames are giving him a look in a fourth-line role after losing Walker Duehr on waivers to the Sharks. Bishop probably won't make enough of an impact to be considered in fantasy, especially since Rory Kerins will be pushing him and Kevin Rooney for playing time.

Phillip Danault C | MON
Kings' Phillip Danault: Lights lamp in overtime loss
Danault scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
Danault hadn't scored since Dec. 14 against the Rangers, though he had a decent seven assists over 14 outings between goals. The 31-year-old's tally Saturday tied the contest at 1-1. The center is up to four goals, 23 points, 69 shots on net, 42 hits, 40 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating while filling a middle-six role through 45 appearances this season.
