Nick Schmaltz C | UTA
Hockey Club's Nick Schmaltz: Riding eight-game point streak
Schmaltz scored a power-play goal in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Jets.
Schmaltz's second-period tally extended his point streak to eight games (four goals, six assists). The 28-year-old is finding consistency in his usual roles on the top line and first power-play unit. For the season, the playmaking winger is up to 10 goals, 39 points (14 on the power play), 104 shots on net and a minus-9 rating over 48 appearances.

Vladislav Namestnikov C | WPG
Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Logs assist Friday
Namestnikov notched an assist and went plus-3 in Friday's 5-2 win over Utah.
Namestnikov didn't have as much success as linemates Cole Perfetti (hat trick) or Nikolaj Ehlers (goal, two assists). This was Namestnikov's third helper over his last two contests as he settles back into a second-line role following his recent absence due to a lower-body injury. The center is up to 23 points, 46 shots on net, 57 hits, 32 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-16 rating over 46 appearances.

Gabriel Vilardi C | WPG
Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Offers power-play helper
Vilardi logged a power-play assist and two PIM in Friday's 5-2 win over Utah.
Vilardi helped out on Cole Perfetti's opening tally at 17:52 of the first period. The 25-year-old Vilardi has eight points (three on the power play) over 11 contests in January. For the season, he's enjoyed a breakout with a career-best 43 points, including 20 on the power play, through 50 appearances. He's added 92 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating while playing primarily on the top line.

David Gustafsson C | WPG
Jets' David Gustafsson: Lights lamp in win
Gustafsson scored a goal and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-2 win over Utah.
Gustafsson has a goal and an assist over his last two outings after failing to get on the scoresheet in his first 16 games of the season. He's added 17 shots on net, 13 hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 18 appearances. Gustafsson looks set to stay in a fourth-line role for now while Rasmus Kupari has moved up to center the third line in the absence of Adam Lowry (upper body).

Cole Perfetti C | WPG
Jets' Cole Perfetti: Earns first career hat trick
Perfetti scored three times, added three hits and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-2 win over Utah.
Perfetti opened the scoring with a power-play tally in the first period, then added an even-strength goal and an empty-netter in the third. The 23-year-old had been limited to just two assists over his previous 14 contests, so he was arguably overdue to bend the twine. Perfetti is up to 10 goals, 28 points, 89 shots on net, 41 hits, 34 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating through 50 appearances this season.

Ryan Donato C | CHI
Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Nabs helper Friday
Donato produced an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning.
Donato continues to roll on offense -- he has three goals and three helpers over his last seven contests. The 28-year-old forward continues to draw value from a power-play role, though he's also been productive despite seeing fourth-line time at even strength. For the season, he's up to 28 points, 104 shots on net, 81 hits and a minus-5 rating through 46 appearances.
-
Connor Bedard C | CHI
Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Posts helper in overtime loss
Bedard logged an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning.
Bedard has two goals and two assists over his last five outings. The 19-year-old center is up to 13 goals, 29 helpers, 113 shots on net and a minus-20 rating over 48 appearances. He's been consistent lately, which certainly helps fantasy managers who stuck it out through a choppier first two months of the campaign for the second-year standout.

Colton Dach C | EDM
Blackhawks' Colton Dach: Scores first NHL goal
Dach scored a goal, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning.
Dach's tally was the first of NHL career, coming in his 10th game. The 22-year-old tied the game at 1-1 at 16:29 of the first period. Dach has four points, 13 shots on net, 32 hits and an even plus-minus rating so far. He won't be an option for all fantasy managers, but he's got a bit of scoring upside and physicality for those in deeper formats.

Frank Nazar C | CHI
Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Pair of points in overtime loss
Nazar scored a goal, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Lightning.
Nazar put the Blackhawks ahead 2-1 late in the first period and also set up a Louis Crevier tally in the second. This was Nazar's first career multi-point effort, but it probably won't be his last. The 21-year-old has gotten on the scoresheet in three straight games and now has two goals, five assists, 24 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 19 appearances this season.

Zemgus Girgensons C | TB
Lightning's Zemgus Girgensons: Nearly two months without points
Girgensons was held off the scoresheet for the 26th consecutive game in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Girgensons' opportunities have been limited in a bottom-six role, but that's a bad drought for any player. His last point was a helper versus the Capitals on Nov. 27. The 31-year-old forward has just two assists, 51 shots on net, 90 hits and a minus-5 rating over 47 appearances this season, so he likely doesn't need to be on most fantasy rosters.
