  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Tallies twice on power play

Draisaitl scored a pair of power-play goals on five shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Flames.

Draisaitl has four goals and nine assists over his last six games. The 30-year-old has 13 power-play goals this season, six of which have come in four games against the Flames, so he may be disappointed that the Battle of Alberta is over for the year. Overall, he's at 29 tallies, 80 points (34 on the power play), 161 shots on net and a plus-12 rating over 55 appearances.

  • Nazem Kadri C | COL

Flames' Nazem Kadri: Provides two helpers in win

Kadri notched two assists and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Oilers.

This was Kadri's second multi-point effort in a row after he went 19 games without one. He was limited to just four points during that span. The 35-year-old center is up to 39 points, 155 shots on net, 34 hits and a minus-24 rating through 56 appearances. Despite his recent struggles, he's still been one of the Flames' better forwards for the season. Kadri has popped up in trade rumors, but he's signed for three more years at a $7 million cap hit, so he may be difficult to move if Calgary decides to fully embrace a teardown.

  • Connor Zary C | CGY

Flames' Connor Zary: Pots goal in win

Zary scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Oilers.

Zary tipped in a Zach Whitecloud shot at 11:43 of the second period. This ended a 10-game goal drought for Zary, who racked up five assists and 21 shots in that span. The 24-year-old is now at nine goals, 21 points, 81 shots on net, 33 hits and a minus-6 rating through 54 appearances. He had 27 points in the same number of games a year ago, so the step back on offense is a bit discouraging, though the Flames' scoring numbers as a whole are poor.

  • Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Nets power-play goal

Huberdeau scored a power-play goal on three shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Oilers.

Huberdeau opened the scoring at 3:12 of the first period. It's been another tough season for Huberdeau, but he's shown a little positivity lately with two goals and two assists over his last five outings. The 32-year-old winger is up to 10 goals, 25 points (seven on the power play), 83 shots on net and a minus-9 rating through 50 appearances this season.

  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Pair of points Wednesday

Kyrou scored a goal on four shots and added a power-play assist in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Stars.

This was Kyrou's fourth multi-point effort in the last six games. In that span, he's earned four goals and six assists. The 27-year-old winger is up to a total of 13 goals, 32 points (11 on the power play), 123 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 47 appearances. He's had better years, but it looks like he's turning things around, and he should continue to see steady top-six minutes.

  • Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Tallies in Wednesday's win

Bouque scored a goal on two shots and added five hits in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Blues.

Bourque has three goals and an assist in his last four games. The 24-year-old has found a regular top-six role, which is helping him contribute more consistently. For the season, he's up to 11 goals, matching his 73-game total from the 2024-25 regular season. He has also added 11 assists, 94 shots on net, 45 hits and a minus-2 rating across 57 appearances.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Keeps rolling with two points

Duchene scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Blues.

Duchene extended his point streak to six games, a span in which he's earned six goals and three helpers. The 35-year-old was fairly inconsistent prior to this stretch, and he'll look to keep the momentum going after the Olympics. For the season, the veteran center is at 10 goals, 20 points, 50 shots on net and a minus-3 rating across 32 appearances.

  • Oilers' Josh Samanski: Paper move to AHL

Samanski was reassigned to AHL Bakersfield on Wednesday.

This is functionally a paper move, as Samanski will spend the Olympic break in Italy representing Germany. The 23-year-old will need to play in one AHL game before being recalled to the NHL roster, but that's unlikely to happen until the NHL schedule resumes. Given Germany's underdog status, Samanski should have the time to get back to the Condors and get in a game before the Oilers face the Ducks on Feb. 25.

  • Owen Martin C | WPG

Jets' Owen Martin: Dishes three helpers in WHL win

Martin logged three assists in WHL Spokane's 7-2 win over Penticton on Wednesday.

Martin has earned five points over his last three games, but that follows a stretch of eight contests where he was limited to two points. He's been streaky all season, and he's now at a total of 29 points in 45 appearances. The Jets prospect has taken a step back from last season, though offense isn't going to be where he makes his money in the long run.

  • Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Sent down Wednesday

Poitras was reassigned to AHL Providence on Wednesday.

Wednesday's game versus the Panthers was the last one before the Olympics for the Bruins. Poitras will continue to play in the AHL while the NHL team is on a multi-week break. He has one goal over three NHL outings this season.
