  • Cody Glass C | NJ

Penguins' Cody Glass: Adds insurance tally

Glass scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

Glass restored a three-goal lead for the Penguins just a few minutes after Adrian Kempe put the Kings on the board. The 25-year-old Glass has three points over his last three outings after producing just two assists across the prior 15 contests. Overall, the forward has 12 points over 36 outings in 2024-25, roughly in line with the 13 points he put up over 41 games with Nashville in 2023-24. Glass has added 49 shots on net, 32 hits, 23 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating this season.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Pots goal in blowout win

Malkin scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Kings.

Malkin has a goal, an assist, seven shots on net and five blocked shots over four contests since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 38-year-old is up to nine goals, 34 points, 78 shots on net, 34 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a minus-17 rating through 45 appearances. Malkin is a fixture on the second line and is still contributing enough offense to help fantasy managers.

  • Hockey Club's Kevin Stenlund: Finds helper in Monday's win

Stenlund logged an assist and won 13 of 19 faceoffs in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets.

Stenlund ended a seven-game point drought with the helper. The 28-year-old had a strong December but has otherwise produced offense in line with what's expected of a fourth-liner. His biggest contribution has come at the faceoff dot, where he's won a career-best 59.7 percent of draws, ranking sixth among players with at least 200 faceoffs taken. He's added 12 points, 57 shots on net, 36 blocked shots, 31 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-11 rating over 46 outings.

  • Hockey Club's Nick Schmaltz: Distributes two helpers

Schmaltz logged two assists and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets.

Schmaltz set up the first and last goals of the contest. The 28-year-old is riding a six-game point streak, earning three goals and five assists in that span. Overall, he continues to be a steady playmaker on Utah's top line with nine goals, 28 helpers, 12 power-play points and 101 shots on net through 46 appearances.

  • Hurricanes' Jesperi Kotkaniemi: Puts away goal Monday

Kotkaniemi scored a goal and added two hits in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

This was his first goal and third point over 10 outings in January. Kotkaniemi has bounced between the second and fourth lines this season, but he has not often been reliable enough to be helpful in fantasy. Overall, the 24-year-old has 20 points, 74 shots on net, 44 hits, 30 PIM, 20 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating across 47 appearances.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: In doubt Thursday

Howden is dealing with an illness and may not travel with the team for Thursday's matchup with the Blues, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Considering the Knights are traveling for a road back-to-back if Howden isn't available versus St. Louis on Thursday, he shouldn't be expected to face the Stars on Friday either. The 26-year-old forward recently broke out of a 10-game goal drought with his tally versus the Blues on Monday, finding the back of the net for the first time in 2025.

  • Kent Johnson C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Opens scoring in loss

Johnson scored a power-play goal on four shots and blocked three shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Islanders.

Johnson is up to three goals and three assists over nine outings in January. Three of those points have come with the man advantage. The 22-year-old is up to 13 tallies, 14 assists, 68 shots on net and a minus-6 rating over 33 appearances. Monday also marked the first time all season he's blocked multiple shots in a game -- while he often plays in all situations, the bulk of his production comes from points, not physical play.

  • Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Provides pair of helpers

Barzal notched two assists, including one on the power play, and three shots on goal in Monday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.

Barzal is surging on offense -- this was his third multi-point effort over the last five games. He has three goals and seven assists over eight outings in January. The 27-year-old forward has 18 points (four on the power play), 65 shots on net and a plus-7 rating through 25 appearances this season. Barzal has been a fixture on the top line when healthy.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Tallies twice in win

Horvat scored two goals on four shots, added five hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets.

Horvat's second tally came on the power play. This was his third multi-point effort in January, and he's earned six goals and two assists over eight contests this month. The 29-year-old center is up to 16 goals, 35 points (five on the power play), 134 shots on net, 57 hits and a plus-11 rating over 45 appearances.

  • Lightning's Luke Glendening: Struggling on offense

Glendening has gone 16 games without a point after being held off the scoresheet in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Glendening also opened the season cold on offense. During his current drought, he's racked up 12 shots on net, 28 hits, 11 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating. The defensive center has been limited to four points, 32 shots, 65 hits and 35 blocks through 45 outings overall.
