Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Set to return from knee injury
Zegras (knee) will return to the lineup Tuesday against the Panthers, according to Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Zegras has been sidelined since early December after undergoing right knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. The 22-year-old is poised to fill a top-six role in addition to receiving power-play time now that he's available to suit up. Isac Lundestrom (lower body), who is not expected to play Tuesday, will be replaced in the lineup by Zegras. Before getting injured, Zegras generated four goals and 10 points over 24 appearances.

Howden ended a six-game slump with his tally. The 26-year-old played well before that dry spell, but the Golden Knights are relatively healthy at forward now, so he's been limited to third-line duties. Overall, the physical forward has 16 goals, 22 points, 82 shots on net, 87 hits, 37 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 47 appearances. He needs two more points to set a new personal best.

Hertl is hot -- he has six goals and five assists over his last eight contests, getting on the scoresheet in seven of those games. The 31-year-old has earned five power-play points during his heater, including a goal with the man advantage in two straight outings. Overall, he has 16 tallies, 36 points (16 on the power play), 111 shots on net, 59 hits, 38 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 47 appearances.

The 24-year-old winger also reached the 30-point mark Monday, and he's surged to get there, earning six goals and three assists over his last five outings. Eichel's pair of points came in the third period, allowing the Golden Knights to salvage a standings point. The 28-year-old has a goal and three helpers over his last four contests. He has been held off the scoresheet in consecutive games just twice this season, offering remarkable consistency in a top-line role. The center is at 12 goals, 46 assists, 144 shots on net and a plus-24 rating through 46 appearances.

Kyrou notched two assists, including one on the power play, in Monday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
Kyrou has three multi-point efforts and a total of four goals and five assists over nine outings in January. The 26-year-old winger is up to 20 goals, 21 helpers, 11 power-play points, 140 shots on net and a plus-11 rating over 48 appearances. Kyrou's a virtual lock for top-six minutes and time on the first power-play unit, and his offense remains steady, though he won't add much non-scoring production.

Schenn scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Monday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
Schenn has five goals and four assists over nine outings in January, including five points during a four-game streak. The 33-year-old center has found more consistency this month, and coupled with his steady physical play, he's a strong all-around forward in fantasy. Schenn has 11 goals, 29 points, 93 shots on net, 114 hits, 37 PIM and 32 blocked shots over 48 appearances.

Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Supplies pair of assists
Krebs registered two assists and two shots on goal in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Kraken.
Krebs hasn't scored in nine games, but he has five assists in that span. The 23-year-old forward saw 16:05 of ice time Monday, his most in any game since Dec. 11. Krebs has been up on the third line recently, which could help his production. He's at 16 points over 45 contests, one point shy of matching his 80-game output from 2023-24. He's added 36 shots on net, 74 hits, 21 PIM and a minus-3 rating in 2024-25.

Thompson scored a goal and added a power-play assist in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Kraken.
Thompson continues to roll on offense -- he has four points over his last three outings and two goals and six assists through eight contests in January. The 27-year-old earned both of his points in the second period Monday. He's up to 20 goals, 38 points (11 on the power play), 125 shots on net, 41 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 41 appearances while filling a top-line role.

Stephens notched an assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Monday's 6-4 win over the Sabres.
Stephens earned his first point in seven appearances since he was most recently recalled from AHL Coachella Valley. The 27-year-old has filled the fourth-line center role in the absence of Yanni Gourde (lower body). Stephens doesn't add much to be of interest in fantasy -- he has two assists, 12 shots on net, 12 hits and a minus-4 rating over 16 appearances this season.
