Lightning's Gage Goncalves: Lands on waivers
Goncalves was placed on waivers Monday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Goncalves has one goal, one assist, 17 shots on net, eight blocked shots and 22 hits in 26 NHL appearances this season. If he passes through waivers, the 23-year-old forward could head to AHL Syracuse.

Devin Shore C | MIN
Wild's Devin Shore: Waived by team
Shore was designated for waivers by the Wild on Monday.
Shore's waiver placement, and subsequent demotion to the minors if he clears, could be an indication that Jakub Lauko (lower body) and/or Kirill Kaprizov (lower body) will be available to face the Oilers on Wednesday. The 30-year-old Shore has played in 24 games for Minnesota this season, generating one assist, 19 shots and 30 hits while averaging 8:18 of ice time.

Ben Jones C | MIN
Wild's Ben Jones: Waived by Minnesota
Jones was waived by the Wild on Monday.
Jones saw consistent playing time for Minnesota in recent months, as he appeared in 25 of the team's last 27 games. However, he didn't make much of an impact, as he was held without a point while recording 49 hits, 11 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a minus-3 rating while averaging 8:29 of ice time. He'll likely head to AHL Iowa if he passes through waivers.

Martin Necas C | COL
Hurricanes' Martin Necas: Assists on both goals in loss
Necas logged two assists, including one on the power play, and two hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Ducks.
This was Necas' first multi-point effort since Dec. 5 against the Avalanche. He was cold in late December but has turned things around with a goal and five helpers over his last eight contests. The 25-year-old forward has reached the 50-point mark for the third straight campaign, earning 15 goals, 35 assists, 103 shots on net, 34 hits and a plus-1 rating over 44 appearances. He's picked up 21 of those points with the man advantage.

Vladislav Namestnikov C | WPG
Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Unavailable Tuesday
Namestnikov (lower body) won't play against Vancouver on Tuesday, according to John Lu of TSN.
Namestnikov skated on his own before Monday's practice but will miss his second straight game. He has accounted for nine goals, 20 points, 44 shots on net, 29 blocked shots and 52 hits across 43 outings this season. Due to Namestnikov's absence, Dominic Toninato will remain in the lineup for Tuesday's matchup.

Alex Newhook C | MON
Canadiens' Alex Newhook: Under the weataher
Newhook will not participate in Monday's practice session due to the flu.
Newhook is currently stuck in a six-game point drought, during which he has recorded 10 shots, 12 hits and two blocked shots while averaging 15:16 of ice time. If the forward isn't able to recover in time for Tuesday's matchup with Utah, Josh Anderson and Brendan Gallagher will both be candidates to move into a top-six role in Newhook's stead.

Klim Kostin C | SJ
Sharks' Klim Kostin: Missing road trip
Kostin (lower body) will not join the Sharks for their five-game road trip, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports Monday.
Kostin wasn't going to be eligible to come off injured reserve for the first two games of the trip regardless, but this news effectively rules him out for longer. Considering the 25-year-old winger is mired in an 11-game point drought, few fantasy managers are likely to be anxiously awaiting his return to the lineup, but those that are will have to wait awhile longer.

Alex Wennberg C | SJ
Sharks' Alexander Wennberg: Slated to travel with team
Wennberg (illness) is expected to be available for Tuesday's road matchup against the Red Wings, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Wennberg missed Saturday's game against the Wild due to an illness, but he's set to travel with the Sharks ahead of their upcoming five-game road trip, and head coach Ryan Warsofsky said that he expects the 30-year-old to play in Detroit. Over four appearances in January, Wennberg has recorded two assists, two blocked shots, a hit and a minus-2 rating while averaging 17:45 of ice time.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Scores goal Sunday
Jarvis scored a goal while adding three shots and four hits in Sunday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Jarvis continues to find ways to produce in his first-line role, and he's found the back of the net four times over his last five games. The 22-year-old has been very productive in recent weeks, tallying 13 points (five goals, eight helpers) across his last 15 contests. He's also recorded 38 shots, 22 hits and 10 blocked shots in that span.

Mark Kastelic C | BOS
Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Not playing Tuesday
Kastelic (upper body) won't play against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, according to Andrew Fantucchio of Boston Hockey Now.
Kastelic remains day-to-day and will miss his second straight game. He has contributed four goals, 12 points, 53 shots on net, 23 blocked shots, 167 hits and 81 PIM across 43 appearances this season. Vinni Lettieri will replace Kastelic in Tuesday's lineup.
