Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Stars' Logan Stankoven: Registers assist Thursday
Stankoven provided an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.
Stankoven has been limited to four assists over 17 contests since the start of December. The 21-year-old has somewhat gotten lost in the shuffle, as the Stars' top six started to click in January with Stankoven filling a third-line role. He has 19 points, 103 shots on net, 25 hits and a plus-1 rating over 38 appearances. It's part of the price of being a rookie on a contending team -- Stankoven will play in whatever spot most benefits the team's results even if it's not ideal for his individual production.

Mavrik Bourque C | DAL
Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Strikes early in win
Bourque scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.
Bourque opened the scoring at 1:45 of the first period. He's picked up a goal and an assist over his last two games -- it's the first time he's gotten on the scoresheet in consecutive contests at the NHL level. The 23-year-old rookie has three goals, six helpers, 37 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 35 appearances.

Wyatt Johnston C | DAL
Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Puts away 10th goal
Johnston scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.
Johnston stretched the Stars' lead to 3-0 in the second period. The offensive side of Johnston's stat line is all round numbers -- he has 10 goals and 20 assists over 40 contests this season, including 13 points over his last 11 games. The 21-year-old forward has added 111 shots on net, seven power-play points and a plus-8 rating while consistently seeing top-six minutes.

Sam Carrick C | BUF
Rangers' Sam Carrick: Unlikely hero in overtime
Carrick scored the game-winning goal, fired three shots on net and added two hits in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Devils.
Carrick typically sees fourth-line minutes, but he had 15:01 of ice time Thursday, his second-highest total in a game this season. The center has three points over his last six outings, though it's unlikely he'll be able to sustain much offense over a long stretch. Overall, he has three goals -- including the first two game-winners of his career -- while adding six assists, 38 shots on net, 32 PIM and 72 hits through 41 appearances in 2024-25.
-
Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Generates helper Thursday
Krebs notched an assist and two blocked shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Senators.
Krebs has earned three points over his last six outings. He remains firmly in a bottom-six role, though he could draw a little more playing time if the Sabres' usage of seven defensemen from Thursday becomes a regular thing. Krebs is at 13 points, 30 shots on net, 71 hits, 19 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 41 appearances.

Dylan Cozens C | OTT
Sabres' Dylan Cozens: Tallies in win
Cozens scored a goal and added five hits in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Senators.
Cozens ended a five-game goal drought with his second-period tally. The 23-year-old center has been playing on the top line lately, but it hasn't unlocked more offense for him with just two points over four contests since the promotion. He's at nine goals, 12 assists, 94 shots on net, 86 hits, 45 PIM and a minus-13 rating over 42 appearances this season, offering limited upside for fantasy outside of formats that reward toughness.

Michael Amadio C | OTT
Senators' Michael Amadio: Not ready to return
Amadio (concussion) skated in a non-contact jersey Friday but will not be available for weekend games against Pittsburgh and Dallas on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, Claire Hanna of TSN reports.
Amadio has already missed seven games since he was injured in Vancouver on Dec. 21. The 28-year-old center has two goals and 10 points in 33 contests this season. He could return Tuesday against the Islanders if he continues to progress in his recovery.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Continues excellent stretch
Crosby recorded a power-play goal and two even-strength assists in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Oilers.
The veteran playmaker notched a two-assist performance for the second game in a row, and he continues to play at a high level in recent weeks. He's up to 22 points (four goals, 18 assists) over his last 17 appearances since the beginning of December.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Scores two goals Thursday
Draisaitl scored two goals in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins. He also recorded seven shots on goal, one hit and a plus-1 rating.
Draisaitl went pointless in the 4-0 win over the Bruins on Tuesday, but he bounced back admirably with a two-goal effort Thursday. This was the sixth time he scored at least twice in the current campaign, and it extended a blistering stretch of form for the 29-year-old star center. Over his last 20 games, Draisaitl has racked up 33 points with 16 goals and 17 assists in that span.

Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Records three assists Thursday
McDavid recorded three assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins.
The star playmaker was involved directly in each of the team's three goals in this loss, but his stellar efforts weren't enough to avoid the defeat. McDavid opened the 2025 calendar year with back-to-back pointless efforts, but he's bounced back with four points over his last two contests (one goal, three helpers). The 27-year-old world-class center is having another stellar season, putting up 27 points (four goals, 23 assists) since the beginning of December and 58 total points in 38 outings in the entire campaign.
