  • Blackhawks' Connor Bedard: Five-game, seven-point streak

Bedard picked up a power-play assist Tuesday in a 6-2 loss to St. Louis in the Winter Classic outdoor game.

The helper extended his scoring streak to five games and seven points (three goals, four assists). The streak also includes one goal and two assists on the power play. Bedard has 18 points (seven goals, 11 assists) in his last 17 games; 10 of those points have come with the man advantage. Bedard is a generational talent, but he can't do this alone. He's minus-12 in those 17 games and minus-18 on the season (38 games).

  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Contributes assist Tuesday

Hertl notched an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens.

Hertl set up Zach Whitecloud's opening tally at 2:23 of the first period. The 31-year-old Hertl's offense has run a little inconsistent lately -- he has three points over his last seven games after a span of four points in four outings from Dec. 4-14. The forward is up to 25 points, 85 shots on net, 49 hits, 33 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 37 contests. His spot in the top six looks to be secure for now, so he should be able to get into a groove eventually.

  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Loves playing outdoors

Kyrou scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Chicago in the Winter Classic outdoor game.

Kyrou scored a power-play goal from the left circle in the first period to put the score up 2-0. He has four points (two goals, two assists) and 13 shots in his last four appearances and 32 points (16 each) in 39 games this season. Kyrou has a knack for outdoor games -- he had an NHL outdoor-game record four points in the Blues' 6-4 win over the Wild in the 2022 Winter Classic in Minneapolis.

  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Lends assist Tuesday

Suzuki provided an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Golden Knights.

Suzuki set up a Cole Caufield goal in the second period, which got the Canadiens on the board. Prior to Tuesday, Suzuki had gone two games without a point. It's just the fourth time he's had a multi-game drought all season. The center is up to 11 goals, 25 helpers, 71 shots on net, 35 blocked shots, 30 hits and a plus-1 rating over 37 appearances.

  • Dylan Holloway LW | STL

Blues' Dylan Holloway: Seven points in last four games

Holloway delivered a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 win over Chicago in the Winter Classic outdoor game.

He was in the right place at the right time -- Justin Faulk's shot rang the post and went right to Holloway, who settled the puck and scored before Petr Mrazek could even react. He has four goals, three assists and 15 shots in his last four games after slogging through a six-game point drought. Overall, Holloway has 14 goals, 12 assists and 93 shots in 39 games this season. His breakout is official.

  • Blues' Alexandre Texier: Four points in last four games

Texier scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-2 win over Chicago in Tuesday's Winter Classic.

Texier isn't known for his offense, but he's upped his scoring with four points, including two goals, and nine shots in his last four games. Texier doesn't deliver blocks or hits, so his fantasy value is tied to streaks like this.

  • Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Contributes another assist

Barzal provided an assist in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Barzal now has three points and a plus-1 rating over seven contests since he returned from an upper-body injury. He hasn't gotten on the scoresheet in consecutive games this season, and he also doesn't have a multi-point effort. He's been limited to eight points, 44 shots on net and a minus-2 rating over 17 outings, but given his spot in the Islanders' top six, he could be a buy-low candidate for fantasy.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Hockey Club's Clayton Keller: Unavailable Tuesday

Keller (illness) is out for Tuesday's game versus the Oilers.

Keller played 19:47 in Seattle on Monday, logging an assist and four shots on net with no obvious issues, but he ended up under the weather a day later. It's a tough break for Utah to be without its captain against the Oilers. His next chance to play is Thursday in Calgary.

  • Connor Dewar C | PIT

Maple Leafs' Connor Dewar: Chips in with helper

Dewar provided an assist and four hits in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Islanders.

Dewar ended a seven-game point drought that also saw him sit out twice as a healthy scratch. The 25-year-old has been limited to fourth-line duties this year, so it's unlikely he'll put up significant scoring numbers even at the best of times. He's logged two assists, 22 shots on net, 51 hits and a minus-1 rating through 20 appearances.

  • David Kampf C | WAS

Maple Leafs' David Kampf: Second goal in last three games

Kampf scored a goal in a 3-1 win over the Islanders on Tuesday.

He put the Leafs up 1-0 late in the first period. Kampf was in the slot and one-timed a perfect pass from William Nylander past Ilya Sorokin's glove. He has two goals in his last three games, but we're not investing. Kampf is a lucky tag-along with Nylander, and he doesn't really have top-six skill. Nice goal, though.
