  • Stars' Wyatt Johnston: Grabs two more points in win

Johnston scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Johnston factored in on the Stars' two goals early in the third period that turned this into a runaway victory. This was his second multi-point effort in a row, and he has two goals and five assists over his last six contests. The 21-year-old looked good on a new-look line alongside Jamie Benn and Matt Duchene, which should be an effective two-way trio. Johnston is at eight goals, 24 points, 98 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through 35 appearances this season.

  • Ryan Strome C | CGY

Ducks' Ryan Strome: Pots game-winner Sunday

Strome netted a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in 20:08 of ice time Sunday in a 5-3 win over Edmonton.

Strome was set up by Troy Terry for the game-winning goal at 17:24 of the third period. The marker was Strome's first since Nov. 29, and he snapped a four-game point drought in the process. Strome has recorded 41 points in each of the last two seasons, and he's on pace to finish right around that number again in 2024-25. The Ontario native is tied for second on the Ducks in points (six goals, 11 helpers) through 35 outings.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Breaks out with three points

Duchene scored a goal on five shots, dished two assists and went plus-3 in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Duchene had gone five games without a point entering Sunday. He broke that slump by getting involved in the Stars' last three goals in this win. The center's offense has dropped significantly without Tyler Seguin (hip) in the lineup -- the Stars' second line had been a strength early in the season but hasn't found much success lately. Duchene has 14 goals, 19 helpers, 61 shots on net and a plus-7 rating over 35 appearances. He clicked with Jamie Benn and Wyatt Johnston in this contest, so the trio may stick together for a while.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Scores, dishes apple Sunday

McTavish generated a goal and an assist in Sunday's 5-3 win over Edmonton.

McTavish set up Robby Fabbri's fifth goal of the campaign in the second period, and the former sealed the win with an empty-netter late in final frame. This was McTavish's third multi-point effort in 2024-25 but first since Oct. 29. The left-shot center has an immense amount of potential, but he'll need to show more consistency to be of use for fantasy managers. McTavish is at five markers, 11 helpers and a minus-3 rating through 29 appearances.

  • Robby Fabbri C | MIN

Ducks' Robby Fabbri: Two points in victory

Fabbri produced a goal and an assist Sunday in a 5-3 win over Edmonton.

Fabbri tied the score at 3-3 late in the middle frame, and he set up Mason McTavish's empty-net goal to seal the win. Fabbri's resurgence in terms of offensive production in December has been night and day compared to his output over the first two months of the campaign. The left-shot winger has accumulated three goals and four helpers over eight appearances in December -- he had just two goals across 14 appearances between October and November. Fabbri has provided five goals and nine points through 22 appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Nabs helper in Sunday's win

Dorofeyev logged an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Flames.

Dorofeyev has three points over his last six games, an improvement on the six-game slump that came before that stretch. The 24-year-old winger remains in a third-line role -- without a return to the top six, his offense may be limited. He's at 13 goals, seven helpers, 104 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 36 appearances this season, so he's still a decent source of depth scoring in fantasy.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: On four-game point streak

Eichel notched a power-play assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Flames.

Eichel has a goal and five helpers during his four-game point streak, which includes a pair of shorthanded points from Friday's win over the Sharks. The 28-year-old center has emerged as an all-situations force in 2024-25. He's up to 10 goals, 38 helpers, 104 shots on net and a plus-21 rating through 36 appearances in a top-line role.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Nets goal in win

Howden scored a goal on three shots, added four PIM and went plus-2 in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Flames.

Howden is on a surge with five goals and three assists over his last seven outings. The 26-year-old forward's goal was the game-winner in the shutout, as he opened the scoring 15:59 into the second period. He's matched last year's point total (19) in half the time, racking up 15 goals and four assists through 36 contests after requiring 72 games to get to that mark in 2023-24. This season, he's added 60 shots on net, 63 hits, 30 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-5 rating while filling a middle-six role.

  • Blues' Brayden Schenn: Pots goal in defeat

Schenn scored his sixth goal of the season Sunday in a 4-2 loss to Buffalo.

Schenn snapped a seven-game goal drought with the marker. The left-shot center added five shots on goal and a plus-1 rating in 18:43 of ice time. St. Louis' captain plays in all situations, but that hasn't translated to much success -- the second-line center has produced six goals and 19 points through 38 contests. Schenn has registered three consecutive 20-goal campaigns, but he's on pace for just 13 markers in 2024-25.

  • Jiri Kulich C | BUF

Sabres' Jiri Kulich: Seals win Sunday

Kulich deposited an empty-net goal in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Blues.

Kulich put Buffalo up 4-2 with an insurance marker at 16:19 of the third period. The 20-year-old registered just two goals over the first two months of the campaign, but he's picked up the pace through 12 games in December with five tallies and two helpers. Kulich has bounced around the lineup this season, but he's currently centering the third line in addition to having a role on the No. 2 power-play unit. The 2022 first-round selection has provided seven goals and nine points through 27 outings.
