Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Logs helper in loss
Suzuki recorded one assist, one shot on net and two blocks in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Suzuki and his linemates on the top unit have been cold recently, but they were on the ice for two goals scored by Montreal defensemen. Predators' Steven Stamkos: Finds twine Monday
Stamkos scored a goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes.
Stamkos found the back of the net in the first period and opened the scoring for the Predators with his 10th goal of the campaign following a setup from Filip Forsberg. The veteran center has been peaking into form of late and has cracked the scoresheet in all but one of his last seven contests, tallying seven points (three goals, four assists) in that span.

Ryan O'Reilly C | NSH
Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Scores power-play goal
O'Reilly scored a power-play goal in Monday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes.
O'Reilly found the back of the net just 30 seconds into the third period to give the Predators a three-goal lead with a wrister following an impressive set-up from Filip Forsberg and Jonathan Marchessault. This was O'Reilly's third straight game with at least one point, and he's been very productive since returning from a three-game absence due to a lower-body injury, putting up six points (three goals, three assists) in his last six appearances.

Jonathan Marchessault C | NSH
Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Three-point effort Monday
Marchessault recorded two even-strength goals and a power-play assist in Monday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes.
The 33-year-old winger is going through his most productive stretch of the season -- by a wide margin -- and extended his point streak to seven games with this impressive outing. Marchessault has three multi-point efforts and 11 total points (seven goals, four assists) in that seven-game span, bringing his season numbers to 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists) across 35 appearances.

Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI
Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Nets goal vs. Sabres
Palmieri scored a goal with his lone shot in Monday's 7-1 loss to the Sabres.
Palmieri was the only player who managed to defeat Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, and he did it with a tap-in in the final stages of the second period when the Islanders were already down five goals. This was Palmieri's first goal since Dec. 8, when he found the twine in a two-point performance against the Senators. The 33-year-old has 12 goals and 25 points across 35 appearances this season.
-
Tage Thompson C | BUF
Sabres' Tage Thompson: Snaps scoring drought
Thompson scored an even-strength goal in Monday's 7-1 win over the Islanders.
Thompson found the twine for the first time since Dec. 11 in a 3-2 loss to the Rangers, and this goal also ended a three-game pointless streak for the 27-year-old center. Thompson could be in line to surpass the numbers he posted last season, when he recorded 56 points across 71 games, as he's notched 26 points (17 goals, nine assists) in 30 games so far in the current campaign.
-
Dylan Cozens C | OTT
Sabres' Dylan Cozens: Two assists in win Monday
Cozens recorded two assists in Monday's 7-1 win over the Islanders.
Cozens registered multiple assists in a single game for the first time this season, and the 23-year-old playmaker has been playing well of late with points in three of his last four outings. He has seven points in 11 December outings (two goals, five assists) and should continue to find decent opportunities to keep producing due to his top-six role, as well as his presence in the team's second power-play unit.

Anthony Cirelli C | TB
Lightning's Anthony Cirelli: Pockets two assists Monday
Cirelli delivered two assists, one on the power play, in Monday's 4-0 win over the Panthers.
Both helpers came in the first period, including one on a Mitchell Chaffee tally with the man advantage. Cirelli has slowed down a little, getting onto the scoresheet in just five of his last 11 appearances, but he still heads into the holiday break with an impressive 13 goals and 30 points through 31 contests.
