  • Dylan Strome C | WAS

Capitals' Dylan Strome: Scores again in loss

Strome scored a goal on three shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Stars.

Strome has three goals, one assist and 12 shots on net during his four-game point streak. The 27-year-old center played provider for much of the early portion of the season, but he's upped his shot rate and found success with five goals over 12 games since Alex Ovechkin (lower leg) exited the lineup. Strome is now at 11 goals, 38 points, 52 shots on net and a plus-17 rating through 30 outings overall.

  • Stars' Mavrik Bourque: Provides helper Monday

Bourque notched an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 3-1 win over the Capitals.

Bourque's 13:48 of ice time Monday was his most in a game since Nov. 18. The 22-year-old remains on the fourth line, but with the Stars carrying just 12 forwards currently, his place in the lineup is secure. Bourque has a modest six points with 19 shots on net, 13 blocks and a plus-2 rating over 25 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Yakov Trenin C | MIN

    Wild's Yakov Trenin: Questionable Wednesday

Trenin (upper body) remains a doubt ahead of Wednesday's matchup with Florida, Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Trenin was working in a non-contact jersey Tuesday, but head coach John Hynes wasn't willing to rule him out for Wednesday's contest. If Trenin can't play, the Wild will have to either deploy seven defensemen or keep Devin Shore up in the NHL for a little longer -- assuming he clears waivers Tuesday.

  • Radek Faksa C | DAL

Blues' Radek Faksa: Won't play versus Devils

Faksa (lower body) won't be available against New Jersey on Tuesday, but head coach Jim Montgomery told reporters, "He's getting closer. Real good sign today," per Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic.

Faksa seems to have a decent chance of cracking the lineup against the Lightning on Thursday, though he hasn't been officially cleared yet. Prior to getting hurt, the veteran center was stuck in an 11-game goal drought during which he recorded a meager 14 shots while chipping in three helpers. Given his offensive limitation, few fantasy players figure to be anxiously awaiting his return to action.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

    Islanders' Bo Horvat: Game-time decision

Horvat (lower body) will be a game-time decision against Carolina on Tuesday, according to Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.

Horvat participated in the morning skate before leaving the ice with the other regulars, which is an encouraging sign after he sat out Sunday's 5-3 loss to Chicago. He has generated eight goals, 22 points and 86 shots on net across 31 appearances this campaign.

  • David Kampf C | WAS

Maple Leafs' David Kampf: Ready to return

Kampf (lower body) will return to the lineup for Wednesday's road matchup against the Stars, Dave McCarthy of NHL.com relays.

Kampf has missed 12 consecutive games due to the injury. The left-shot center should slot in on the fourth line in addition to filling a role on the penalty kill. Connor Dewar will likely be a healthy scratch Wednesday in Dallas.

  • Predators' Fedor Svechkov: Sent to minors

Svechkov was assigned to AHL Milwaukee on Tuesday.

Svechkov had played in nine consecutive contests before being a healthy scratch in each of the last two games. The left-shot center will link back up with the Admirals, where he's produced five goals and three assists across seven appearances in 2024-25.

  • Jack Drury C | COL

Hurricanes' Jack Drury: Out of action for at least a month

Drury will miss a minimum of four weeks after undergoing hand surgery, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports Tuesday.

Drury broke a bone in his thumb in a loss to the Sharks on Dec. 10. The 24-year-old has registered three goals and six assists through 28 contests. Tyson Jost should continue to see consistent playing time while Drury is sidelined, and Jesperi Kotkaniemi is currently centering the second line.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Two more points in Monday's loss

Draisaitl scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Panthers.

Both points came in the second period as the Oilers took a 4-2 lead, but the Panthers took control the rest of the way. Draisaitl has reeled off six straight multi-point performances, collecting six goals and 15 points over that stretch, and the surge has carried him into the lead in the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy with 23 goals in 31 contests. His 47 points also tied him for second in the overall scoring race, behind only Nathan MacKinnon (50).

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Two more tallies Monday

Hyman scored two goals on a team-high six shots on net in Monday's 6-5 loss to the Panthers.

The veteran winger has been locked in since returning from an undisclosed injury in early December. Hyman has found the back of the net in five of his last six games, collecting seven tallies in total during that stretch, and he's up to 10 goals and 15 points in 26 appearances this season. As long as Hyman remains on a line with Connor McDavid, who assisted on both his goals Monday, he'll be a fantasy asset.
