Capitals' David Kampf: Still not eligible to play
Kampf (not injury related) will remain out of the lineup Saturday versus Boston, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.
Kampf has still not received his work visa and will miss his fifth straight game since he was dealt from Vancouver on March 6. The grinder had two goals and four assists in 38 games with the Canucks prior to his trade.

Anton Lundell C | FLA
Panthers' Anton Lundell: Back in action for Sunday
Lundell (undisclosed) will be in the lineup Sunday against Seattle, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Lundell missed Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over Columbus due to an injury. The talented center has seen a big increase in his time on ice, going from averaging 16:43 in the 2024-25 regular season to 19:10 this campaign. Most of that has to do with the season-ending injury Aleksander Barkov (knee) suffered in training camp, but it also helps that at the age of 24, Lundell is maturing with an increased role. He has 17 goals and 43 points in 2025-26 and is just two points away from tying his career high in points.

Carter Verhaeghe C | FLA
Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Returning for Sunday
Verhaeghe (undisclosed) will be back in the lineup Sunday in Seattle, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Verhaeghe sat out Thursday's game versus Columbus. Verhaeghe has 19 goals, 27 assists, 150 shots on net and 56 hits in 63 outings this season. He is expected to play alongside Evan Rodrigues and Mackie Samoskevich on the second line as well as seeing first power-play time in Seattle.

Sam Bennett C | FLA
Panthers' Sam Bennett: Considered day-to-day
Bennett (undisclosed) is day-to-day after sitting out Saturday's practice, Panthers play-by-play announcer Steve Goldstein reports.
Bennett's availability for Sunday's matchup against Seattle is unclear, but Anton Lundell (undisclosed) will be available to return to the lineup. The 29-year-old Bennett has collected 24 goals, 50 points, 170 shots on net and 109 hits across 65 appearances this season.

Sam Reinhart C | FLA
Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Missing four-game road trip
Reinhart (undisclosed) will not travel with the team for its upcoming four-game road trip, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.
Reinhart missed his first game of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Detroit, but he returned to action against Columbus on Thursday and scored the game-winner in overtime. The Panthers open a four-game road trip in Seattle on Sunday before playing three games in Western Canada. Reinhart has 29 goals and 32 assists across 64 games this season. It's unclear if he will be ready to return to the lineup when the Panthers host the Kraken on March 24.

Christian Dvorak C | PHI
Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Game-time call
Dvorak (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision versus Columbus on Saturday, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Dvorak has missed only one game this season, tallying 13 goals and 25 assists over 64 games in 2025-26. Should Dvorak sit out, look for Garrett Wilson, who was recalled earlier in the day, to play for the first time since the 2018-19 NHL season.

Nick Paul C | TB
Lightning's Nick Paul: Ready to rock
Paul (lower body) was activated off long-term injured reserve and will return to the lineup Saturday versus Carolina, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.
Paul missed 11 games, dating back to Feb. 1, due to the injury. He is expected to see bottom-six minutes in his return to action. Paul has six goals, six assists and 42 hits over 34 appearances this season.

Conor Geekie C | TB
Lightning's Conor Geekie: Returned to minors
Geekie was loaned to AHL Syracuse on Saturday.

Owen Martin C | WPG
Jets' Owen Martin: Pots pair for Spokane
Martin scored twice on five shots in WHL Spokane's 4-0 win over Seattle on Friday.
Martin's surge in February ended when the calendar flipped to March -- he had logged just two points over the previous four games. The Jets prospect has made a decent impression with his recent play, though he's still at a relatively modest 24 goals and 51 points through 61 appearances this season. Spokane is likely to make the WHL playoffs but probably won't go on a run, so the 18-year-old likely has just a few more weeks to add to his numbers.

Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Lights lamp Friday
McDavid scored a goal on four shots in Friday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Blues.
McDavid saw an eight-game, 15-point streak snapped in Dallas on Thursday. He put the Oilers up 2-0 with his tally midway through the third period Friday, but it ultimately wasn't enough. The superstar center is still leading the NHL with 111 points (37 goals, 74 assists) while adding 245 shots on net and a plus-10 rating over 67 outings. McDavid is in position to challenge for 130-plus points given his pace this season.
