James Hagens C | BOS
Bruins' James Hagens: Records three helpers Saturday
Hagens notched three assists in Boston College's 4-3 loss to Providence College on Saturday.
Hagens is up to 10 goals and 14 helpers through 19 appearances for BC this season. The Bruins prospect should continue to provide dynamic offense as a playmaker. The sophomore forward is proving himself at the NCAA level, though it's not yet clear when he'll join the professional ranks.

Ivan Ryabkin C | CAR
Hurricanes' Ivan Ryabkin: Erupts in second junior game
Ryabkin scored a goal and added four assists in QMJHL Charlottetown's 6-3 win over Halifax on Saturday.
Ryabkin was playing in just his second game since being reassigned to Charlottetown from AHL Chicago. The Russian forward has already made a good impression. He had seven points in 25 outings with Chicago, but he should greatly benefit in production after moving down a level.

Brett Howden C | LV
Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Unavailable Saturday
Howden (lower body) won't play Saturday versus Nashville, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Howden also missed the Golden Knights' previous three games due to the injury. He has nine goals and 15 points in 39 outings in 2025-26. With Howden and Colton Sissons (upper body) unavailable, Tanner Laczynski and Alexander Holtz will be in Saturday's lineup.

Jonathan Marchessault C | NSH
Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Removed from IR
Marchessault (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Following a 14-game absence, Marchessault appears to be available to return to the lineup. He has contributed seven goals, 10 points, 60 shots on net and 30 hits across 28 appearances this season.

Jake Evans C | MON
Canadiens' Jake Evans: Off injured reserve
Evans (lower body) was activated off injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Despite being described as a game-time decision for Saturday's clash against Ottawa, Evans appears ready to return to the lineup. He hasn't played since Dec. 20 due to the injury. Evan is likely to serve in a middle-six capacity, and his return might result in Sammy Blais being a healthy scratch versus the Senators.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Taking leave of absence
Draisaitl is taking a leave of absence from the Oilers because of an illness in the family, the team announced Saturday.
The Oilers said Draisaitl is expected to return later next week. Draisaitl has 25 goals and 67 points in 48 appearances in 2025-26. Andrew Mangiapane will probably draw into the lineup Saturday in Vancouver due to Draisaitl's absence.

Will Smith C | SJ
Sharks' Will Smith: Scores in return
Smith scored a goal on three shots in 21:10 of ice time in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Red Wings.
Smith returned from a 13-game absence due to an upper-body injury, and he immediately reclaimed a top-line role. The 20-year-old was in the midst of a breakout campaign prior to the injury. He's at 13 goals, 30 points, 83 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 34 appearances. If he can seamlessly get back up to speed, fantasy managers should make room to get him back in their lineups.

Dylan Larkin C | DET
Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Finds twine in win
Larkin scored a goal on six shots and went plus-2 in Friday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.
Larkin is up to 24 goals this season, including seven tallies over his last 14 outings. The 29-year-old center is shooting a career-high 16.7 percent, putting him on pace to surpass his previous high mark of 33 goals in 68 outings in 2023-24. He's at 43 points, 144 shots on net, 32 PIM, 27 blocked shots, 22 hits and a plus-4 rating across 49 appearances this season.
-
Jack Studnicka C | FLA
Panthers' Jack Studnicka: Coming up empty on offense
Studnicka was scratched in Friday's 9-1 loss to the Hurricanes.
That's a two-edged sword for Studnicka. He was scratched for the fourth time since his Dec. 1 recall from AHL Charlotte, and he's yet to earn a point in 18 appearances in a fourth-line role. He's added 16 shots on net, 19 hits, six blocked shots, four PIM and a minus-6 rating. Given the Panthers' brutal loss Friday, it seems likely he'll get another chance to play soon, but he hasn't done anything to get the attention of fantasy managers.

Rodrigo Abols C | PHI
Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: Not returning Saturday
Abols suffered a lower-body injury in the first period versus the Rangers on Saturday and will not return.
Abols was injured during his second shift of the game, managing to play only 1:19 of ice time. Abols has three goals and 10 points in 42 games this season. Consider him day-to-day at this time.
